The couple met at a rehearsal dinner right before COVID hit and during those three days of wedding events everything in life just fell into place.
Although it was a destination wedding, the bride and groom wanted their invitations to capture their middle heritage. Thus, they designed them in a way to combine a traditional wedding invite with a modern twist and used their custom Arabic name logo as an overarching basis for the design.
Having a love for design, the couple also designed their menus, itineraries, souvenirs, the slippers for dancing, and even the bride's sneakers were designed and made by the bride. Each of these items had a special touch from their culture, such as the souvenirs which were designed and made by the mother of the bride representing cinnamon which symbolizes love, health, fertility, happiness, and so on, with an amulet with either the evil eye, the hand or several other traditional protection and good wishes in their culture.
The first dress boutique she went to had prepared a few dresses which she thought were what she wanted, however talking to the stylist and describing her vision, she pulled out the bride’s dream dress which arrived a few days before she came into the boutique and it captured her heart and all her loved ones that were there finally agreed on the same thing. The dress picked the bride!
Photoshoot took place at the Villa Miani, the venue we fell in love with and wanted to return to.
The idea for picking the flowers came from the elegance and royalty of this venue. They are both into the sleek/classy look and thought an all-white and natural look was the best way to represent them and complement the surrounding beauty in itself.
An all-white elegant candle-lit event that captured the beauty of our surroundings. We wanted everywhere that we looked to be a special scene, whether it was overlooking the eternal city of Rome or at the stunning venue, we wanted the minimal sleek decor to compliment it all. While we still had gorgeous floral arrangements and extravagant candelebras they were a perfect addition to the romance and charm of our wedding day. It was truly our dream wedding.
Looking back at it now and watching our wedding video, we just want to relive each moment again in the most beautiful setting.
