Love Story

Some love stories are written in the stars, and Dana and Joey's journey proves that true love always finds its way home. "Joey & I met in college back in 2017, it was love at first sight!" Dana recalls with a smile that lights up her entire face. "We spent 2.5 years absolutely inseparable, but after I decided to study abroad in Italy and him graduating a year prior to me, we went our separate ways."

For six long years, they lived on opposite coasts—him in New York, her in Los Angeles. "I never knew if I would see him again!" Dana admits. But fate had other plans. When Dana accepted her dream position as Senior Manager of Client Relations for Christian Dior Couture, life brought her back to the East Coast in 2021. "Within one month of moving, we got dinner and the rest was history."

The proposal came as a complete surprise during Joey's annual family trip to Aruba. "I did NOT expect it! My nails weren't even done," Dana laughs. "We were on the beach, right at sunset when he popped the question. After I said yes and we approached his family on the beach, my parents walked out. Then my brother and sister-in-law. Then my BEST FRIEND!! I was absolutely shocked. We have it on video. I've never gone from 'ok' to completely wailing/sobbing so quickly..."

About Your Wedding

The pure magic unfolded at The Flagler Museum in Palm Beach on February 15th, 2025, as Dana and Joey exchanged vows in front of 230 of their closest family and friends. After 10 months of meticulous planning, their vision of "timeless grandeur" came to life in the most spectacular way.

"Palm Beach chic with modern undertones," is how Dana described their wedding style, and every single detail reflected this sophisticated aesthetic. "I lived on Pinterest for the months leading up to my wedding and worked very closely with Jessica Masi to bring what was in my brain, to life!" The result was nothing short of breathtaking—a celebration that perfectly balanced classic elegance with contemporary flair.

Morning Details

The couple's attention to detail was evident from the very first glance at their stunning stationery suite. Working with the talented team at Cece New York, every piece of paper goods reflected their refined taste and wedding vision.

Their wedding rings told a story all their own, custom-designed by their dear friend Madison Podpirka (@fewerfiner). "This process was amazing and very thought through!" Dana shares. "Joey's ring is a conversation starter for sure; it's 100% hand engraving all the way around of symbols that mean a lot to him/us. I went with something simple yet different, pear-shaped diamonds going east to west."

Dana's jewelry choices were equally thoughtful. "The night before, I wore a stunning @stinghd diamond necklace. On my wedding day, I borrowed my sister-in-law's diamond bracelet minutes before walking down the aisle... aside from that, just my engagement ring."

Bride Getting Ready

The morning of February 15th found Dana in pure bridal bliss at the Eau Hotel in Manalapan, surrounded by her mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and bridesmaids. The suite buzzed with excitement as The Clyque team worked their magic on hair and makeup, creating the perfect look for this special day.

Dana's dress selection story is every bride's dream come true. "It was the first dress I tried on and I couldn't get it out of my head! I felt like a bride in it," she remembers about her stunning "Miles" gown from Chosen by Kyha in Soho, New York. The dress was pure perfection, complemented by a delicate Chosen by Kyha veil with floral organza applique.

Her bridal party looked equally stunning in their L'idee designs, creating a cohesive and elegant bridal party aesthetic. Dana's accessories were carefully chosen for both style and comfort—white slide-on pointed mules from a Retrofete sample sale. "I went for clean, classic and comfort!"

Groom Getting Ready

Meanwhile, Joey was preparing for the biggest day of his life in his own suite at the Eau Hotel, surrounded by his groomsmen. Dressed in an impeccably tailored Christian Dior tuxedo, he embodied sophisticated elegance that perfectly complemented Dana's timeless beauty.

First Look

The first look took place outside the magnificent Flagler Museum, and it was a moment that will forever be etched in our hearts. When Joey turned to see Dana in her wedding dress, the emotion was overwhelming. "He took a deep, quivering breath and then CRIED like I have never seen before," Dana recalls with tears in her own eyes. "I think he was overcome with emotion and anticipatory nerves! He is the sweetest man ever!"

For Dana, the moment was equally profound. "What an exciting future we are about to embark on together, and how lucky we are to have reconnected when we did," she reflects. Dana later shared that this would be "the key moment I'll remember from my wedding. Our first look. Seeing Joey for the first time on such a monumental day was the most emotional, grounding experience of my life."

Photoshoot Before The Ceremony

The couple chose to capture their formal portraits at The Flagler Museum, utilizing every stunning corner of this iconic Palm Beach landmark. "We wanted to lean into the iconic Palm Beach landmark that it was and utilize its beauty!" Dana explains.

Ceremony

The ceremony unfolded in the magnificent Railcar No. 91 room within The Flagler Museum,where guests were transported to an era of luxury and romance. Dana made her entrance to the ethereal sounds of "Cornfield Chase" by Hans Zimmer performed on strings, creating a moment of pure cinematic beauty.

In a heartwarming twist on tradition, Dana selected a very special flower girl. "I had a flower grandma! My fabulous, flower-loving Mom Mom Lorraine who is 88 years old was our flower girl." The couple's nephew JR took on ring bearer duties, with his little brother Enzo cheering him on from the sidelines.

Dana's Jewish heritage was beautifully woven throughout their ceremony. "I'm very proudly Jewish and wove this into our ceremony and reception. Before the ceremony, we had a private ketubah signing with our immediate families in the courtyard of the museum. It was beautiful and so special. During the ceremony, Joey stepped on the glass!"

The ceremony included deeply personal moments that brought tears to every guest's eyes. Their mothers participated in a meaningful candle lighting ceremony, and Joey surprised everyone by incorporating words from a handwritten letter he had penned to Dana during their college years into his wedding vows—a gesture that brought their love story full circle.

Photoshoot After The Ceremony

Dana and Joey made the thoughtful decision to prioritize their guests' experience over extended photo sessions. "It was really important to us to be present at cocktail hour so we did the majority of our photos beforehand," Dana explains. "After the ceremony we took a few shots outside but honestly we didn't care about photos at that time!"

This choice allowed the newlyweds to immediately dive into celebrating with their loved ones, creating authentic moments of joy that were just as precious as any posed photograph.

Wedding Venue & Decor

The Flagler Museum was an instant favorite for the couple when they began their venue search. "It was the first one we saw and fell in love with it. It has so much character. We knew we wanted a destination because of the time of year," Dana shares.

The couple's sophisticated color palette of green, cream, black, and gold created an elegant foundation throughout the space, beautifully enhanced by touches of peach and pink in their floral arrangements. Petal Productions brought Dana's floral vision to life with dramatic calla lily arrangements that perfectly captured her aesthetic goals. "We leaned into this floral for simplicity and drama. I love the modern, clean structure of this flower and the drama of the long stems... Our florists Petal Productions knocked it out of the park!"

Reception

The celebration reached new heights during the reception,where Dana and Joey shared their first dance to "The Way I Love You" by Michal Leah, setting a romantic tone for the evening ahead.

The couple's Jewish traditions continued to shine during the reception festivities. "During the reception, we danced the horah and were lifted up on chairs. The party erupted after this!" Dana recalls with obvious joy from that magical moment.

Creative Edge Parties elevated the entire dining experience with innovative food and beverage presentations that perfectly balanced classic elegance with modern flair. The couple each had signature cocktails that reflected their personalities—Dana's Hugo Spritz and Joey's Belvedere on the rocks kept the celebration flowing throughout the night. Earth and Sugar Bakery created a wedding cake that was as stunning visually as it was delicious.

Looking back on their vendor team, Dana couldn't be happier with every choice they made. "Everyone exceeded our expectations on every level," she reflects, and from every detail captured and carefully curated element, it's clear that this Palm Beach celebration was nothing short of perfection.
