Andrew and Savana met many years ago when both of them were students. Their love for each other has remained consistent for the past 6 years and has stood the test of time.
The whole preparation began with Andrew and Savana’s save-the-dates. They took engagement photos at the Fox Theatre, a national historic landmark in Detroit, Michigan. This venue served as Detroit’s premier movie house until the 1980s. It is known as the city’s crown jewel.
When it came time to design their invitations, they wanted to ensure that they set the tone for their black-tie wedding. So, they began with handwritten calligraphy from the incredibly talented @Leahemoss. They included an oversized invitation with gold foil and a blush detail insert.
Savana chose a custom bridal gown from @DanyTabet and complemented her look with gorgeous @LouboutinWorld wedding shoes and accessories by @Howardsfinejewelry.
@Hair_By_Christina_Zara and @Cecilia_myntbeauty were responsible for her perfect hair and makeup.
Being a resident physician at the hospital in downtown Detroit, he fearlessly cared for thousands of people in the emergency room during the pandemic. He put his life on the line and faced the challenge.
August 19th, 2022 was the day when he firmly decided to take responsibility for one more person. And he looked incredible complementing the look with shoes from @LouboutinWorld and a Breitling watch from @Howardsfinejewelry.
On the wedding day, they wanted to ensure that their photographer captured their theme for the big day. The couple was looking for high-fashion and editorial-style photos.
Andrew and Savana did their first look in the dining room of the Meadowbrook mansion, also known as the Christopher Wren Dining Room.
It was vital for a couple to have black and white images inside the mansion to capture the rich history of the venue.
Talented Niki Marie was easily able to capture timeless, elegant, but editorial-like photos that the couple will look back on for years to come.
Their ceremony took place in the Pegasus garden with pink roses, baby’s breath, and a string quartet. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and celebrated their love in front of 150 of their closest friends and family.
During cocktail hour, they had butler passed hors devours. They also had custom cocktail napkins made, custom drinks named after the bride and groom, as well as drink toppers.
For their wedding, Savana and Andrew selected Meadowbrook Hall & Gardens as the canvas for their unique vision.
After they got engaged, their families took a tour together and this confirmed that Meadowbrook Hall & Gardens would be the perfect backdrop to their big day.
String lights dangled from the ceiling of the reception tent, and they had large pink and white roses and hydrangeas centerpieces. With a gorgeous color base, @Breathofspringflorist was able to truly demonstrate their creative vision in an exciting way. Floristics and the decor heightened the luxury of the wedding. Their close ones enjoyed the elegance of the special aesthetic—an amazing representation of the stylish couple.
Guests nibbled on passed hors d’oeuvres while listening to sincere speeches toasting the newlyweds and wishing them well on their marriage journey. The guests also had a chance to take photos thanks to a black & white glam photo booth with a custom monogram.
Then they danced the night away to their favorite kind of music! @tandment mixed songs and kept the party going until midnight.
