They don’t have to follow tradition for the sake of it—they can be bold, cinematic, and deeply personal.”

The first year in weddings was a whirlwind.
“My first year fully stepping into weddings, I booked 15 in a short amount of time—a whirlwind that solidified my passion for this industry.”
Then, the challenges of Covid shook the industry. Postponements, cancellations, and a shift in how couples planned their weddings brought uncertainty. However, it was in these moments of difficulty that Theel Wedding Productions refined its approach.
“It was disheartening at times, but ultimately, it pushed me to adapt, refine my approach, and become even more intentional with my work. Looking back, I’m so grateful for that growth—it shaped me into the photographer I am today, and I emerged from it stronger than ever.”

“I’m a Canon girlie through and through! My go-to cameras are the Canon R6 and R6 II, paired with a mix of zoom and prime lenses to capture every moment with depth and precision.”

“Lighting is all about flexibility—depending on the setting, I use both strobes and constant lights to enhance the natural ambiance. Most of the time, you’ll see a Godox flash on my camera for clean and balanced reception lighting. And because I love incorporating grand perspectives, drone photography is a staple in my work. I’m currently using the DJI Mini 4 to capture sweeping, cinematic aerial shots that add an extra layer of storytelling to the wedding day.”
Editing plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and aesthetic of the final images. Every photo is carefully processed by hand.
“Once I’ve culled the images, every photo is hand-edited—no AI shortcuts here. My focus is on color consistency and crafting a cohesive aesthetic that feels both true to life and cinematic.”
Using Lightroom for fine-tuning and Photoshop for minor refinements, they ensure every gallery flows seamlessly. The goal? To enhance the natural beauty of each moment without over-manipulating reality.
