Cupcake Productions emerged from the combined vision of Jayant and Shruti, who transitioned from careers in marketing to the vibrant world of wedding photography. With an initial desire to encapsulate the spectrum of emotions and festivities characteristic of Indian weddings, they embarked on this creative journey a decade ago.

"We balance between documentry and editorial style of photography," Shruti describes their artistic approach. This method ensures that every snapshot is a testament to their technical skill and their deep understanding of narrative storytelling.
Utilizing state-of-the-art Canon full-frame cameras, Cupcake Productions ensures top-tier image quality for their clients. The post-processing workflow is equally robust, involving a five-step process detailed by Jayant: "We have 5-step process for editing wedding photos, culling, sorting, Lightroom, mood, skin retouching, removal of distractions."
At the core of Cupcake Productions is a profound engagement with the diverse cultural narratives of India. Each wedding presents an opportunity to dive deep into the myriad Indian traditions and customs, allowing them to showcase and celebrate the rich cultural heritage through their photography. "We love capturing different love stories, understanding different Indian cultures and customs, meeting new people, and making great connections," Shruti shares with enthusiasm.
Their client interactions are deeply rooted in collaboration and preparation. "We like to prepare and discuss a few times the mood for their wedding, how they want their wedding pictures to be, accordingly we provide them with the best of photos for their wedding," Jayant explains. They even design custom photography packages based on a detailed questionnaire filled out by the couple, ensuring each project is uniquely tailored to meet specific needs and desires.
Despite their extensive commitments, Cupcake Productions manages to keep their work intimate and personalized, handling around 20 weddings per year. This allows them to dedicate sufficient time and resources to each event, ensuring quality and satisfaction. Destination weddings hold a special place in their portfolio, with Bali and Udaipur being their favorite locations.
