"From the moment I first held a flower, I knew I would be a florist," Becky recalls. Growing up in a small town surrounded by nature, her mother’s vibrant garden served as the playground where her creativity first bloomed. "Growing up so close to nature has nurtured a part of me that eventually encapsulated what I wanted to do when I grew up! I always knew it was flowers."
Her journey began humbly—watering annuals at a greenhouse, delivering flowers, and managing shops. These early experiences shaped her work ethic and honed her skills. "Flowers are what I know," Becky states with pride. Today, as the founder of Blush and Bloom, she leads a talented team to design floral experiences that celebrate love, individuality, and beauty.
When asked what brings her the most joy as a wedding florist, Becky’s response is as heartfelt as her creations. "Connecting with my clients, planning and envisioning for months and months, and then executing their vision and bringing things to life gives me so much joy."

"We created a workshop for a planner + videographer-industry friend’s wedding—so creating for my friend who is also in this industry while teaching budding florists was incredibly rewarding and so special for me."

For Becky, floral design is as much about innovation as it is about tradition. She delights in incorporating unexpected elements into her work. "My thoughts are, ‘This is what we do!’ I’m always game on introducing elements that almost seem like they don’t belong and making them seem cohesive. We recently used giant golden gilded swans in a wedding Bar feature, and it was the most memorable!"
These bold choices ensure that no two Blush and Bloom weddings are ever the same.
Becky stays ahead of the curve by embracing emerging trends while maintaining her signature style. "I’m loving the use of color in weddings, as always, but the application of textile and fabric is such a unique element making its way into floral design in the year before and still going strong! Also, the addition of edible elements into floral design is always welcomed and I believe here for a bit longer. I will always agree to bring on the fruit and vegetable accoutrements!"
Her innovative approach ensures that her designs are both timeless and trendsetting.
For couples unsure of their wedding floral style, Becky offers this thoughtful advice: "Choose a few key features that represent you both and the feeling you’d like to convey to your guests on the day, and choose the right professionals to take the lead and help bring the style to fruition. This is what we do best—and together we can achieve the best results."

See how they handle pressure, how they manage their teams, and how they order flowers for large events. Make mistakes! Try anything and everything. Make arrangements with anything you can get your hands on—think outside the box."
