One of Kalechi’s core beliefs is that creativity thrives on collaboration. He takes pride in involving couples in the storytelling process. “Creativity is a collaborative process and we encourage clients to contribute ideas and input to the final film,” he says.
Before filming begins, Kalechi ensures that he understands the couple’s vision—their personalities, dreams, and expectations. “After getting to know the clients’ wants and desires, we add our flare and come up with a unique cinematic film,” he adds. The result is a piece of art that feels deeply personal and emotionally resonant.
When asked for his advice to engaged couples, Kalechi doesn’t hesitate. “I truly encourage engaged couples to do an engagement video along with their engagement photos,” he shares. “It gives couples a chance to work with their videographer, feel out the chemistry, and of course, get a preview of what they might look like in their eventual wedding film.”
This thoughtful suggestion not only builds trust but also helps couples feel more relaxed and confident in front of the camera when the big day arrives.
Kalechi’s lens has traveled far beyond his home base, capturing love stories across borders. When it comes to destination weddings, one place holds a special spot in his heart. “Yes, we do destination weddings—and Jamaica is by far our favorite,” he smiles.

As our conversation draws to a close, Kalechi reflects on the true value of his craft. “We would like to add that wedding videography is equally as important as photography,” he emphasizes. “Long after your wedding is over, and your guests have all left... all you will have is your wedding photos and films. It’s a worthwhile investment that you’ll love more and more as the years go by.”
