For Britt Warnick, wedding planning was never just about logistics—it was about storytelling. “I’ve always been drawn to artistry and storytelling, and weddings are the perfect fusion of both,” she explains. “Designing and planning weddings allows my strengths to shine, all at once. I started in design, but I quickly realized that my passion was in crafting experiences that people could feel. I’m really a creative director at heart.”
That passion transformed into a practice that balances vision and detail, artistry and emotion—hallmarks of what Britt Warnick Designs is known for today.
When asked what she loves most about wedding planning, Britt doesn’t hesitate: “The transformation—from concept to reality. I love watching a couple’s story unfold in the details, from a floral movement caught in the breeze to their guests dancing with full hearts.”
Every event is more than a day—it’s an experience, curated with intention and crafted with emotion.
Britt’s philosophy is deceptively simple: “We create weddings that feel like art—and feel like you.” For her, design is never about replicating trends but weaving stories into the fabric of a celebration. “I’m drawn to celebrations that are personal, editorial, and immersive, with thoughtful design rooted in story.”
Exclusivity is key to her approach. “I offer full-service wedding planning and custom design, with a very limited number of clients per year for a truly personalized experience,” she shares. “Every detail is tailored, from vendor sourcing to intentional design and storytelling. My clients experience both incredible visuals and emotional presence—we work on creative design together for months.”
This boutique, highly focused approach ensures that each wedding feels curated rather than produced.
Among the many events Britt has crafted, one stands out vividly. “One of my most memorable weddings took place in the red rocks of Southern Utah. We created a bold, modern design inspired by the four natural elements—wind, fire, water, and stone.”
Every detail carried purpose: “Custom mirrored arches we built ourselves, silk lanterns flown in from Taiwan, sunset-hued florals, and floating fabric installations that moved with the breeze.” Guests even became part of the design story: “Guests wore sunset tones to match the landscape, and we incorporated the bride’s heritage into the design in meaningful, sensory ways. It was modern yet soulful, editorial and deeply personal. The kind of celebration where guests didn’t just say, ‘That was beautiful,’ but ‘That was so them.’”
Britt describes her process with clarity: “I listen first. Then I guide with intention—balancing vision, emotion, and design. My role is part creative director, part calm in the storm.”
It’s this balance—between artistry and composure—that allows her to bring even the boldest ideas to life while ensuring her couples remain grounded and joyful throughout the process.
Her canvas is as broad as her imagination. “We plan weddings all over Utah and beyond, from iconic venues in Park City to private estates, luxury resorts, and international destinations,” she says. “Wherever our clients take us, we go.”
For couples currently immersed in the planning process, Britt’s advice is both practical and heartfelt: “Don’t lose the joy in the process. Choose a team you trust so you can let go and be fully present when it matters most.”
If she could go back to the beginning of her career, Britt knows exactly what she’d say: “Say yes, then figure it out. Some of my proudest work came from bold choices that pushed my creativity and problem-solving skills.”
When it comes to dream venues, Britt looks for places where nature and story intersect. “An intimate villa in Lake Como or a cliffside estate in Big Sur—anywhere nature, story, and design intersect,” she reflects. For her, the magic lies in the merging of setting and story, always with artistry at the center.
