“When I thought about my dream job, there was one thing that kept coming to my mind — people and their stories. Specifically, their love stories.”

For the founder of Styled in White Events, wedding planning was never just a career path — it was a calling. What began with a fascination for love stories soon evolved into designing celebrations where those stories take center stage.

“Becoming a wedding planner was about so much more to me than beautiful flowers, intricate designs, and a perfectly executed timeline. It was about bringing my clients' love to life in a meaningful, tangible, deeply personal way.”

Over the past five years, she has planned weddings in Omaha, Kansas City, Dallas, Austin, Tampa, and countless other destinations, each one leaving an imprint on her journey. “It has been the most amazing adventure, and I am grateful every single day that my clients have entrusted me with such a monumental event in their lives!”

Building Bonds That Last

For Styled in White, the heart of wedding planning lies in relationships.

“I love so many things about my job, but without question, the thing I love most is my relationship with my clients. Working with them to bring their dream wedding days to life is nothing short of spectacular. It is an honor and a privilege to be their partner in the process, and through the months (sometimes years) of planning, I am grateful to say that I have gained so many friends over the years.”

This philosophy of partnership is what makes each event not just a day but a deeply shared experience.

Philosophy and Style

“Our mission at Styled in White Events is to truly serve our clients and vendor partners. In every moment of planning and producing weddings, we strive for excellence and ensure that everyone we come into contact with receives the most superb customer service possible.”

This commitment to service is paired with a signature aesthetic — timeless, elevated, and personal. “The weddings we love and enjoy planning most are those that have a timeless, elevated look and feel. We prioritize personal touches both for the couple and for each of their guests, and we never keep guests waiting for the next part of the evening to begin!”

A Wedding to Remember

Some weddings leave a mark not only on the couple and their guests but also on the planner.

“Probably the most memorable wedding I have ever planned was the wedding of Byron and Hannah (Childress) Hood. There were endless personal touches woven into every single piece of Hannah and Byron's wedding day, and it is a wedding that I still hear people talking about on an almost weekly basis!”

The transformation of their venue remains unforgettable: “The design of this wedding was truly so special — we completely transformed the venue it was held at, and to this day, the owner of the venue has stated that the ballroom has never looked quite that great. As a designer, this is such a massive compliment!”

Guiding Couples with Care

“My approach is simple — I lead with love and service, and I pay attention to even the smallest of details. Those little things are what will make the biggest difference for a client and their guests on wedding day, and it is often where I draw my biggest inspirations for their design!”

Her favorite venues include The Cottonwood Hotel, The Acreage, Livestock Exchange Ballrooms, Joslyn Art Museum, and The Farnam Hotel. Each space offers a unique canvas to bring a love story to life.

On managing budgets, she offers grounded advice: “The best advice I have for staying on budget (other than hiring a great planner who will do it for you) is to invest in the things that truly matter to you and skip the things that don't! Look at your budget as a list of priorities — what is most important to you? Allocate more money to that category, and allow the numbers to decrease from there.”

Words of Wisdom

She reminds couples to embrace the joy of the journey: “Enjoy the process! Yes, it can be stressful at times, but this is such a fun and exciting time in your life. Don't say yes to anything for your wedding that you aren't super excited about just because you feel like you ‘have’ to. This is YOUR day, and every piece of it should feel like YOU!”

To her younger self, she would give advice rooted in confidence: “Work hard and trust yourself. You are more talented and capable than you give yourself credit for! And do not, under any circumstances, compare yourself to someone else. Focus on yourself and your goals — go all in on the things you enjoy and you are good at, and delegate the things you don't/aren't.”

Dreaming Forward

Looking ahead, there is one dream that still shines bright.

“Any venue in Italy is an absolutely DREAM!!! I would specifically love to plan a wedding in Lake Como or Tuscany.”

With a blend of heartfelt service, detail-driven design, and a passion for storytelling, Styled in White Events continues to shape weddings that are not only breathtaking but also unforgettable reflections of love.
