“For me, wedding planning is not just about organizing an event — it’s about storytelling through emotions, aesthetics, and details,” he explains. “Creativity has always been the driving force in my life, and designing weddings allows me to transform imagination into reality, crafting unforgettable moments that reflect each couple’s individuality and dreams.”
When asked what he loves most about his work, Roberto smiles: “The human connection. The privilege of building trust and meaningful relationships with couples who rely on me for one of the most important days of their lives.”
He believes every wedding is a reflection of the couple’s journey—a visual and emotional narrative told through design, music, light, and detail. “Each wedding is more than an event — it’s a story, a piece of art, and an experience that becomes part of the couple’s life journey. That’s what makes my work so rewarding.”
Since 2016, Roberto has worked within the world of luxury events. In 2019, he took a bold step and founded his own company, RoRas Destination Wedding, where artistry meets impeccable execution. Each event under his brand carries his signature blend of sophistication, precision, and emotional depth.
Unlike traditional planners, Roberto avoids standardized solutions. “I don’t offer standard packages — every wedding I plan is fully bespoke,” he notes.

“My planning process begins with getting to know the couple — their story, their style, and what truly inspires them,” he explains. “From there, I design a vision that reflects who they are, creating a cohesive experience that feels authentic and effortless.”

While RoRas Destination Wedding is based in Italy, Roberto’s creativity takes him across borders. “I’m fortunate to work in a variety of stunning locations each year, as every couple brings a different vision and destination to life,” he says. “This diversity allows me to design weddings across Italy and Spain.”

His first advice? “Have a clear vision of the event before signing any contract. It ensures that every service aligns with your expectations and helps avoid hidden costs or surprises later on.”
Transparency, he believes, is the foundation of a stress-free experience. “It’s essential to carefully review what is included — and what isn’t — in each proposal. Clarity from the beginning creates harmony throughout the planning process.”
Even the most experienced planner faces challenges, and Roberto recalls one that tested his creativity and composure. “One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was working with a luxury venue that, unfortunately, did not live up to the expected standards,” he shares. “The day before the wedding, I had to completely redesign and relocate the ceremony area, essentially reorganizing everything as if it were a new wedding.”
Despite the chaos, his calm and artistry prevailed. “It reminded me how crucial it is to stay calm, think creatively, and find elegant solutions under pressure. In the end, the couple never felt the stress behind the scenes — and the celebration turned out to be truly unforgettable.”
Money conversations can be delicate, but Roberto believes in honesty from day one. “From the very beginning, I provide couples with an overview of the average costs for each service,” he says.
Transparency is key — it helps set clear expectations and allows us to make thoughtful choices throughout the process.
Working closely with trusted vendors, he ensures every choice balances beauty and practicality. “My goal is to make sure every decision aligns with the couple’s vision and budget, without ever sacrificing elegance or experience.”
For Roberto, timing is everything. “My main advice is to include every single detail and timing, starting from the morning preparations — from getting ready to hair and makeup, outfit changes, and all photography moments,” he explains. “If there are any transfers between locations, it’s essential to account for travel time and possible traffic. Every minute matters.”
Weather can be unpredictable, especially for destination weddings. “It’s essential to discuss the back-up plan from the very first meeting,” Roberto advises. “Make sure the venue offers a suitable indoor option and evaluate its style and atmosphere carefully. The goal is to ensure that the Plan B feels just as refined and beautiful as the outdoor vision.”
When asked what he would tell couples currently planning their wedding, Roberto’s answer is simple yet powerful:
Have a clear understanding of your budget from the very beginning. Know whether your budget includes the venue or if that will be an additional cost. This clarity gives you confidence and helps you make decisions that feel right — both emotionally and financially.
