“I was born in Jakarta and graduated from STP Bali, Indonesia’s leading tourism university. I spent 15 years honing my skills in 5-star hospitality management across Indonesia and Asia. Before founding Luxury Weddings Indonesia in 2015, I held the role of Director of Weddings at Ayana Resort and Spa, Bali—arguably Indonesia’s largest 5-star wedding resort. For four years, I led a team of 32 wedding specialists, overseeing hundreds of weddings annually.”
The hotel world taught Ria tempo—how staff, vendors, and timelines move in harmony. In 2015 she stepped out from behind the resort curtain and founded Luxury Weddings Indonesia to give couples the precision of a five-star operation with the intimacy of a boutique studio.
“The reason I set up Luxury Weddings Indonesia was because during my time at Ayana, I noticed that the proficiency of wedding planners in the luxury market was very low so I decided to form my own company.”

“We planned a Filipino celebrity wedding that was more like a music festival because all of their friends are famous singers, bands, DJs or artists and photographers. It was amazing, 250 people partying like crazy and not only enjoying the wedding celebration but participating in the entertainment for themselves and all the other guests.”
