In the world of destination weddings, true luxury rarely announces itself loudly. It reveals itself in timing, restraint, emotional intelligence, and the quiet confidence of professionals who know exactly what they’re doing. Happy Moments Collector is one of those names whispered among couples who want more than a beautiful setting — they want meaning, atmosphere, and flawless execution.
At the heart of the agency is Anastasia Aslanyan, a planner whose path into weddings began not with flowers or mood boards, but with strategy, management, and a deep understanding of people. Based in Switzerland, just minutes from Lake Como, Anastasia and her team curate high-end destination weddings across Italy, Switzerland, France, and Spain — celebrations that feel deeply personal while operating on an executive level of precision.
“I graduated with a degree in Management and Entrepreneurship,” Anastasia says, reflecting on a beginning that seems almost unexpected for someone now known for emotionally rich celebrations. “At the time, I had no idea I would end up in such a creative and emotional profession.”
Before founding Happy Moments Collector, Anastasia built her career in corporate marketing and advertising. It was there that she learned how to structure ideas, manage complexity, and communicate vision — skills that would later become the backbone of her planning philosophy.
“What truly inspired me was creating meaningful, once-in-a-lifetime experiences for people,” she explains.
Today, counting only weddings and not corporate events, Anastasia brings 14 years of experience into every project — experience shaped as much by strategic thinking as by emotional awareness.
Some beginnings quietly define everything that follows. For Happy Moments Collector, that moment came early — and on Lake Como.
“Our very first wedding was an intimate, emotional celebration on Lake Como,” Anastasia recalls. The bride, a well-known blogger at the time, embraced a non-traditional concept featuring a long table and an unconventional setup. “It was quite innovative for that period,” she says, and the design quickly circulated across wedding and lifestyle platforms, giving the young agency early visibility.
Just a week later came a second major project — a 70-guest wedding at Villa Pizzo. The timing made it unforgettable. “A few days after our event, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen were expected to get married at the same venue. Paparazzi boats filled the lake during our wedding day,” she laughs. “Once they realized it wasn’t their wedding, they left — and we could finally celebrate in peace. Stressful and funny at the same time.”
Those early experiences confirmed something important: this was the right path, and Lake Como would become a creative playground for years to come.
“What I love most is the combination of creativity, management, and human connection,” Anastasia says without hesitation.
For her, wedding planning is not about assembling beautiful elements — it’s about translating a couple’s values, story, and emotional world into a living experience. “I love taking an idea or a feeling and turning it into something tangible and unforgettable.”
She is equally drawn to the process itself: building trust, guiding couples through complexity, solving challenges quietly, and watching a vision move from paper into reality. “There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing people experience a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
Over the years, Happy Moments Collector has become known for doing things before they were expected — particularly on Lake Como.
“In 2018, when immersive shows and 3D mapping were not yet common here, we were among the first to introduce them at weddings,” Anastasia explains. The team has designed custom-made marquees, executed large-scale installations, and even planted entire fields of flowers at Villa Balbiano.
Some moments became instantly iconic: the first colorful fireworks display at Villa Balbiano, followed by the first white fireworks with glitter at Villa Erba. “They had never been done on Lake Como before,” she says. “Seeing how these ideas resonated with guests was incredibly inspiring.”
Yet, innovation is never pursued for spectacle alone. Each creative risk is anchored in emotional purpose and strategic execution.
At the core of Happy Moments Collector is a philosophy that feels both simple and demanding.
True luxury, for Anastasia, is not excess. It’s thoughtfulness, authenticity, impeccable execution, and emotional depth. The team is especially drawn to destination weddings and multi-day celebrations, where they can curate a complete guest journey — welcome events, farewell brunches, and subtle, unexpected moments of delight.
“The weddings we love most are built on mutual trust and creative alignment,” she says. “That connection allows us to create celebrations that feel timeless and soulful.”
Happy Moments Collector offers full-scope wedding planning and production, combining strategic planning, creative direction, and end-to-end execution. Their work extends far beyond logistics, encompassing staging, lighting, immersive elements, and technical production.
Packages are structured around the number of days and events — from intimate one-day weddings to elaborate multi-day destination celebrations — but each project remains bespoke.
In addition, the agency provides concierge and holiday planning services, allowing couples and guests to experience the destination fully. “We always adapt our structure to the couple’s vision,” Anastasia notes. “No two projects are ever the same.”
The biggest challenges Anastasia has faced were never purely logistical.
“We work in iconic, highly regulated locations with strict rules, weather sensitivity, and complex production demands,” she explains. Over the years, the team has handled regulatory changes, weather disruptions, supplier issues, and time-sensitive challenges.
“The real challenge is resolving everything invisibly,” she says. “Success is when the couple never feels that something went off plan.”
For Anastasia, staying on budget has little to do with cutting costs.
“It’s about strategic planning and clear priorities,” she explains. Couples are encouraged to define what matters most emotionally and invest there intentionally, while the rest of the budget is structured thoughtfully around those priorities.
With transparent forecasting and continuous tracking, there are no surprises — only informed decisions. “Staying on budget is about clarity and trust in the process,” she says.
To couples planning their wedding, Anastasia offers grounded advice:
“Focus less on perfection and trends, and more on meaning and atmosphere. Protect your emotional journey. A wedding should feel like a chapter you’re living, not a production you’re managing.”
And to herself, at the beginning of her career?
When asked about a dream location, Anastasia doesn’t hesitate: La Fortaleza. “It’s cinematic, powerful, and full of creative potential — a place where you can truly create a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
As for collaboration, Happy Moments Collector is always happy to recommend top-tier photographers, videographers, floral designers, and creatives across Europe — a trusted network built on shared standards and long-term relationships.
