When asked about her most unforgettable wedding, Elle immediately recalls a recent Lake Tahoe event. “It was absolutely gorgeous and we took a large team to pull off multiple nights and events of weddings. Money conversations often make couples nervous, but Elle takes a different approach. “We intensely discuss priorities and then we narrow what is less important and make decisions from there. A solid budget is the best way to come up with creative ideas within it so we are always pushing for a number range.”

Even the best-executed weddings come with behind-the-scenes hurdles. For Elle, it’s the tear-down that tests every planner’s resilience. “Tear down—always tear down! You’re on a high from the success of the event, but sore feet, dehydration and exhaustion is always setting in!” Yet, even in those grueling final hours, Elle and her team ensure every detail is handled with the same care as the first.
When asked what advice she would give couples currently planning, Elle’s answer is firm: “Be true to yourselves as a couple—the best weddings are the ones that don’t follow the rules!”
Her message for planners just starting out? “You can do it, befriend your vendors, and always be a team player!!”
While Elle adores spaces with amazing architecture and great lighting, her ultimate dream isn’t tied to a single venue. Instead, she says: “Not necessarily a venue but The Met Gala.” It’s a vision that speaks to her passion for high design and boundary-pushing creativity.
