When Santiago Villaseñor looked back on how his journey began, he said: “I started 16 years ago in the love industry and little by little clients began to trust me and my team to join us on this incredible journey.” Over those years, he and his team have designed hundreds of weddings and events, discovering with each one that their passion grew even deeper.

Santiago remembers his very first planned wedding—not as a flawless production, but as a learning moment. Although he doesn’t recount every detail, he reflects that moment as the seed: “We have designed hundreds of weddings and events and have fallen in love even more with the industry through the years.” That early leap into the world of weddings set the tone for a career built on trust, collaboration and heartfelt design.

Philosophy shaped by kindness, presence & authenticity

At the heart of his company lies a set of guiding principles: “be kind, be present and try to make it as personal as possible, because for our clients it is THAT important.” For Santiago, the wedding day is far more than event logistics — it’s a reflection of a couple’s story, their connection and the unique way they say “Yes.” He explains:

What I like most about wedding planning? Sharing with our clients their most personal and intimate moments towards their big day.

Custom design — no packages, just uniqueness

Rather than offering cookie-cut packages, Santiago and his team commit to fully custom weddings: “We always do custom design weddings, we do not create packages because we try to start from scratch and adapt to our clients’ needs.” This approach allows each celebration to reflect individual preferences, dreams and visions — from the venue to the décor, the tone, the pacing.

A wedding that still figures in conversations

When asked about the most memorable wedding he ever planned, Santiago immediately highlights: “Perhaps one of our favourites will definitely be Mariana & Rodrigo’s wedding last year, because they knew they wanted something different and didn’t have the time to put in, so they trusted the whole project to the team.” He adds: “By the end they couldn’t have been more happy with the final result — a wedding that was very talked about design-wise.” It’s those moments of trust and surprise that define his work.

Listening first, planning second

Santiago’s process emphasizes listening: “We love to actually listen to our clients and try to figure out since the first meeting what are their expectations and what is their vision in order to be able to get to work on their dream wedding.” By investing in that early connection, he says, you build the foundation for a deeply resonant day.

Tackling challenges with creativity and calm

Weddings often come with hidden complexities. For Santiago, the biggest challenges have included “weather and complicated locations, such as beach, the woods and places where all the vendors and suppliers are not allowed to get there by car.” Yet he views obstacles as opportunities: they push his team to design smarter, plan more carefully and still deliver something beautiful.

Budget guidance rooted in vision

While numbers matter, Santiago reminds couples to stay grounded in purpose: “Prioritise and be clear about what’s the most important thing to approach. Don’t lose objectivity of the actual important stuff and the reason why we’re doing this — to celebrate the beginning of their story. Everything else we can find a way to have or don’t have if that’s their will.” In his view, clarity about core values unlocks both budget discipline and creative freedom.

Choosing your planner as you would choose a partner

Talk to different wedding planners, and compare. Search for that ‘click’ kind of bonding since the first meeting, because you will be ‘marrying’ your wedding planner and we could be your best friend and guide during this memorable process.

Santiago’s advice here is simple yet profound: emotional alignment matters as much as logistical expertise.

Advice to the younger self

If Santiago could speak to his younger self, he’d say: “Be kind to everyone, give yourself self-worth, and trust the process. Your passion will become a way to make a living and you will be part of hundreds of love stories — that will be your trademark.” It’s a reminder that the heart behind the design is just as important as the final aesthetic.

Dreaming of Italy’s shores

When asked about his dream wedding to plan, Santiago didn’t hesitate: “Italian intimate close wedding, perhaps somewhere in Lago di Como, or Amalfi Coast.” One can easily imagine the result — a hushed lakeside terrace, warm twilight, a curated palette of natural beauty and intentional design, all guided by Santiago’s steady hand.

With 16 years of experience and a philosophy rooted in presence, kindness and bespoke design, Santiago Villaseñor stands out in the world of wedding planning not just for what he creates — but for how he listens, connects and honours each love story.
