After the call, they decide whether we work together and then from then onwards we are linked via WhatsApp, email and phone,” she explains.
For La Fête, finding the right venue for each couple is key. “I love anywhere that is right for that particular client,” she says. “I have my favorites, but it’s not my big day—it’s theirs.”

When it comes to vendor contracts, La Fête has one piece of advice: “Don’t do it—get a planner! That is quite literally our job. We’re there to get you the best deals, find the best suppliers, and make sure that what you signed is what you actually receive.”

One challenge that many planners face is dealing with last-minute changes. “Clients changing their mind constantly is super hard,” La Fête admits. “It happens, but it adds additional work for me, the suppliers, and everyone involved. It can also lead to extra costs and stress for everyone.”
Despite this, La Fête remains calm under pressure, finding solutions to ensure the wedding day remains as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
“Be honest about your budget and guest count from the start,” La Fête advises. “There’s no point in lying here. Be realistic about what you can afford, and don’t be afraid to share that information early on.”
