“A wedding should feel like an experience—not just a day, but a world guests get to step into.”
That belief sits at the heart of Mae&Co Creative, the globally celebrated wedding planning and design studio founded by Manda Worthington. Known for producing bold, immersive, and deeply personal celebrations, Mae&Co Creative has become synonymous with innovation in destination wedding design.
Manda’s journey began not in a palace or on a private island—but at a local brewery.
“The very first wedding I ever planned was at a brewery for two of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met,” she recalls.
Before founding Mae&Co Creative, Manda had already been planning personal and corporate events, where she found joy in merging organization with artistry. Her love of design and her fascination with logistics soon evolved into something much greater—a way to create transformative, emotional experiences for couples worldwide.
Now, nine years into her journey, Manda continues to approach each wedding as an opportunity to craft something that has never been seen before.
“What I love most about planning weddings,” she says, “is that there are very few careers where you can take a client’s dreams and desires, blend them with your own experience and expertise, earn their full trust—and then have the chance to completely blow them away when they finally see it all in person. That moment of awe, when vision becomes reality, is wildly rewarding.”
Every Mae&Co wedding is built around intention. From destination selection to design composition, every detail is thoughtfully curated to evoke emotion and create a sense of wonder.
At Mae&Co Creative, “different” is the design language.
“Our favorite weddings are the ones that do it differently,” Manda shares. “We’re inspired by couples who want to reimagine what a wedding can be—whether that’s hosting in an unexpected destination, leaning into challenging set-ups, or designing something no one has seen before.”
That willingness to push boundaries has led Mae&Co Creative to produce events that defy convention—weddings that blend fashion, architecture, and storytelling in destinations that span from Italy to Mexico.
Mae&Co Creative offers full-service, premium-level planning exclusively.
This means that every wedding—whether an intimate elopement or a multi-day international celebration—receives the same level of creative direction and logistical precision.
In addition to weddings, Manda and her team also design honeymoons, engagement parties, and bachelorette events, allowing couples to maintain a seamless visual and emotional thread throughout all their celebrations. “We love when we can tell a couple’s story not just through one day, but across several experiences,” Manda adds.
When asked about the most memorable projects, Manda smiles. “The most memorable weddings are usually the most challenging,” she says. “We once had just three days to build a full concert stage and arcade studio on a remote beach—while simultaneously producing three other event set-ups across the same shoreline.”
Such complex undertakings are where Mae&Co thrives. “Those projects that feel nearly impossible are always the most rewarding,” she admits.
Of course, location and people make every event unforgettable. “We’ve produced weddings in places like San Miguel de Allende and Panarea, Italy, and those destinations hold a special place in our hearts. But ultimately, it’s the clients themselves who make each wedding meaningful—so many of them become like family, and those relationships are what stay with us long after the weekend ends.”
Mae&Co Creative’s work continues to evolve as Manda and her team explore new destinations, aesthetics, and sensory experiences. But one thing remains constant: their commitment to designing celebrations that feel deeply personal and artfully unforgettable.
Because for Manda Worthington, a wedding isn’t just an event—it’s a story told in color, texture, light, and emotion.
