Some wedding planners step into the industry after years of dreaming about dresses and décor. Others feel a quiet tug, a subtle call from the universe. For Franziska Bitsolis, it was a blend of structure, artistry, human connection, and a deep love for crafting experiences that stay in people’s hearts long after the music stops.

“I opened my company in 2019 so shortly before Covid hit the world,” she says. “My first booked wedding was in Italy with 120 guests from various countries, which afterwards had to get postponed due to Covid. I did use the time during Covid though to build up my company fully and deepen my knowledge.”

Her background is as international as her weddings — studies in Italian and English, a business foundation, plus event management training. But beneath all that is a simple spark: the joy she receives from people.

“The reason why I became a wedding planner is the combination of my passion for the organization and planning of events with the personal connection and gratefulness you receive with bridal couples.”

Since 2019, that spark has bloomed into a flourishing brand known for heartfelt destination weddings, elegant concepts, and a seamless experience that lets couples stay present, not pressured.

Ask Franziska what she loves most about wedding planning, and her voice softens.

“It is so beautiful to see the development of the first ideas up to the actual wedding day when the couple is standing there with tears in their eyes and everything comes together.”

It’s the moment of truth — when weeks, months, sometimes years of planning fold into one breathtaking exhale.

Her approach isn’t simply aesthetic or logistical. It’s emotional.

“We are specialized in destination weddings in Italy and Greece along with local weddings in Munich and all over Germany,” she shares. “I particularly love multi-day weddings, as they create a unique atmosphere and a beautiful bond between guests, turning a wedding into an unforgettable shared experience.”

And beneath all the beauty lies philosophy.

“I believe a wedding is more than just a beautiful event, it’s a deeply personal experience that should feel effortless, elegant, and unforgettable. Every wedding we design is tailored to reflect the couple itself, crafted with intention and emotion.”

Full-Service Planning with Heart and Precision

Unlike planners who offer multiple packages, Franziska’s studio is intentionally focused.

“I only offer full service planning,” she explains. “In rare cases I accept day off coordinations, but my main focus is on accompanying my couples from the very beginning to the end.”

The experience is curated, personal, immersive — and for couples who want someone who thinks two steps ahead long before problems appear.

And for those who want even more support?

If requested, we can also offer a wedding concierge service, handling RSVPs, guest communication and travel arrangements.

This is wedding planning designed not just to be beautiful, but to be stress-free.

A Wedding in Crete That Stayed With Her

Every planner has a story that lingers. For Franziska, one celebration shines a little brighter.

“One wedding I will never forget was in Crete, Greece. The design was stunning and the bride was absolutely amazing to work with and up til now, we are still in contact.”

Some weddings fill the gallery. Others fill the heart.

Her Way of Working: Clear, Intentional, Aligned

Clarity is the backbone of her process.

“Besides questionnaires to various topics (overall atmosphere, location, design concept, wedding day details, ceremony details), we also have multiple planning calls in between to always discuss the next steps and make sure we are aligned with everything.”

There's no one-template-fits-all, no preferred venue list, no shortcuts.

“For me the most important is to find the absolute right fit for each couple. When looking for venues, I direct my search to the requirements of the couple.”

When Weather Tests the Plan

Every planner has challenges, but one stands out above the rest.

“One of the biggest challenges though is definitely the unpredictable weather,” she says. “That’s why we always create a clear and beautifully designed backup plan — so no matter what the weather brings, the day still feels seamless and magical for the couple and their guests.”

It’s the kind of thinking that separates a good planner from a great one.

Budget Advice that Actually Helps

In a world of endless inspiration, staying grounded is difficult. Franziska navigates couples through it with practical wisdom.

“My biggest advice is to stay realistic and intentional with your vision. Pinterest and Instagram often showcase high-end weddings with very large budgets.”

Her second piece of advice?

“Decide on your priorities. If your main priority is live music, you should allocate a bigger part of your budget to it and be willing to adjust other elements accordingly.”

Vision becomes magic only when aligned with intention.

For Couples Planning Now: Keep Joy at the Center

Planning can be overwhelming, but Franziska brings everything back to what truly matters.

My biggest advice is to enjoy the process and not get lost in perfection. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with endless inspiration and opinions, but remember, this day is about you.

It sounds simple, but it changes everything.

Her message to her younger self is a quiet embrace.

“I’d tell myself to trust the process. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but consistency and passion will take you further than you can imagine.”

Dream bigger. Trust timing. Move with intention.

The Dream Venue

Some places stay on a planner’s bucket list forever. For Franziska, this one is unforgettable:

One that comes to my mind immediately is Tonnara di Scopello in Sicily.

A venue where cliffs meet turquoise water and history whispers from the stones — a perfect match for the emotion-filled experience she creates.

A Planner Who Designs With Soul

Weddings & Events by Bitsolis Franziska isn’t just about timelines and color palettes. It’s about presence, emotion, and grace. It’s about couples who want to feel held, understood, and celebrated across every step of their journey.

Her weddings don’t just look beautiful.
They feel like home.
