Some planners are drawn to weddings for the aesthetics. Others for the production. Azalea Events House was born from something deeper — a desire to work where emotion, beauty, and human connection take center stage.
Founded by Aly Stoica, the studio is known for its thoughtful, bespoke approach to weddings that feel intimate, elevated, and deeply personal. With a background in luxury and corporate events, Aly brings structure and discipline into a world where love, timing, and emotional storytelling shape every decision.
“I come from the luxury industry and corporate events,” Aly shares. “That world gave me structure and discipline — but I wanted my work to be filled with more emotion.”
After four years in wedding planning, the reason behind her transition feels clear and intentional. “I chose weddings because I wanted to be surrounded by love and happiness — by people coming together on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.”
The responsibility that comes with such moments is not lost on her. “Being trusted with something so personal is incredibly moving,” she says. “It’s something I carry with great care and pride.”
Her very first wedding set the tone for everything that followed — a luxury elopement, intimate and poetic. “Their vows spoke about timing, fate, and being ‘magical chances’ in each other’s lives,” Aly remembers. “Watching that unfold confirmed what I already felt — weddings are emotional milestones, not just events.”
With four years of experience as a wedding planner, Aly approaches each celebration with the same sensitivity that drew her into the industry in the first place.
“What I love most is the joy of the day — especially for the couple,” she says. The ceremony remains her favorite moment. “It’s where everything becomes real. I still tear up every single time.”
Weddings are also where her creativity thrives. Each event becomes a new canvas — one that invites artistic expression before the day, and intuitive problem-solving once it begins. “On the wedding day, my instincts take over,” she explains. “Adapting, refining, finding solutions — case by case.”
At Azalea Events House, the philosophy is simple yet powerful: the planning journey should feel as beautiful as the wedding itself.
“We want couples to truly savor the process,” Aly says. “Feeling supported, calm, and excited every step of the way.” The team sees themselves not only as planners, but as a reassuring presence — someone cheering for the couple’s happiness while guiding them through an intimate experience.
The weddings Aly loves most are built on genuine connection. “When the relationship grows into real friendship even after the wedding,” she reflects, “that’s when we know the experience was truly special.”
There are no fixed packages at Azalea Events House. Every service is entirely bespoke.
“We start by getting to know the couple — their vision, their needs, what will make the journey fun and stress-free,” Aly explains. Chemistry matters deeply.
For her, planning is just as meaningful as the wedding day itself. Many clients become close friends — a natural result of trust, collaboration, and shared creativity.
When asked about her most memorable weddings, Aly doesn’t single out one event. Each season brings a few couples with whom she forms especially close bonds — and each year introduces new creative challenges.
“New locations, fresh ideas, unique ways of telling each couple’s story,” she says.
Aly’s approach to working with clients begins with listening.
“I want to understand their personalities, their vision, what will make the day meaningful for them,” she explains. From there, she guides couples through creative possibilities and practical solutions, always keeping their story and budget in focus.
On the wedding day, her role becomes fluid and instinctive. “Adapting in real time,” she says. “The goal is always the same — a personalized celebration that exceeds expectations.”
Azalea Events House frequently returns to iconic Lake Como venues such as Villa del Balbianello and Grand Hotel Tremezzo, working along the breathtaking coastline of Lake Como.
But discovery is equally important. “We love finding hidden gems and new landscapes that spark creativity,” Aly says. Since 2024, the studio has also been exploring the luxury wedding market in Barcelona, embracing new inspirations and possibilities.
Some of the biggest challenges come from unpredictability — especially weather.
“Lake Como can change in an instant,” Aly says. She recalls sudden downpours during boat photo sessions, waiting on shore with heaters and blankets while the couple stayed afloat. Other times, gifts get stuck in customs or a makeup artist falls ill the day before.
“The key is having trusted vendors close,” she explains. “They’re often the ones who save the day.” Calmness, creativity, and flexibility keep every wedding seamless and joyful.
Aly’s main advice for staying on budget is simple: trust local expertise.
“Working with trusted local vendors and insider knowledge helps avoid surprises,” she says. Strategic planning ensures every budget is maximized without compromising on style or experience.
“The journey should feel magical,” Aly emphasizes. Couples should choose a planner who makes them feel supported and inspired — someone who turns planning into a joyful experience, not a stressful checklist.
Looking back, Aly would remind herself to trust her instincts.
“Embrace your creative vision,” she says.
Her dream wedding venues span continents and cultures — from the urban romance of 620 Loft & Garden to the historic grandeur of Palais Garnier.
“They combine everything I love,” Aly reflects. “Architecture, beauty, history, and endless creative possibilities.”
