“I find so much joy in documenting love and life. I'm originally from Norman, Oklahoma, and while completing the graphic design program at the University of Oklahoma, I began photographing weddings. By the end of 2017, I knew that photography was what I was meant to do.”
Though her creative journey began in graphic design, Tricia quickly realized that photography was where her heart lay. The ability to capture human connection in its rawest form inspired her to pursue wedding photography as a full-time career.
How long have you been in the industry?
“11.5 years, 8 years in weddings.”
Her extensive experience has allowed her to refine her approach, balancing artistry, emotion, and editorial elegance to create images that feel as vivid as the moments they capture.
How would you describe your photography style?
“An artful balance between digital and film mediums. Natural, documentary-style imagery with an editorial flair.”

What kind of equipment do you use?
“Canon Mirrorless for Digital & Contax / Fujifilm for Film.”

What’s your approach to post-processing?
“Natural edits using Adobe Lightroom adjustments & color correction.”

“I'm forever thankful that God instilled in me a passion that is so people-oriented. I find so much meaning in working with others during their most significant moments and their everyday.”

“I get to know couples and planners over the engagement through open communication and a final questionnaire. From there, I draw inspiration directly from their details to guide our artistic direction.”

“Absolutely! No two weddings are the same and typically require some customization.”

“The wedding industry is full of beautiful opportunities and incredible people. You can do whatever you put your mind to. While it's important to gain knowledge, the way you can create your business blueprint is limitless. Focus on your goals and community over competition!”

Any tips for couples preparing for a photo session?
“Make it fun! Remember your reason for the photos and celebrations. If you are planning an engagement session, make a date night out of it. Choose a location that makes sense to you as a couple. The same goes for planning your wedding. Stay true to you and your photos will reflect that experience.”

“Every year! My first wedding was actually in Central Park. I would love to continue traveling to Southern California, the PNW, Texas, and Colorado. Internationally, Greece and Italy are on my bucket list.”
