“We are Jurgita (Yurga) and Mindaugas (Mindo), a husband-and-wife duo passionate about wedding photography and the stories it tells,” the duo behind Nakutis Photography introduces themselves warmly. Originally from Lithuania, their journey began over ten years ago, driven by a shared love for people and a desire to create something deeply meaningful.
“Two years ago, we moved to Monza, Italy,” Jurgita shares. “To be closer to the breathtaking destinations and the amazing clients we are privileged to serve across Italy.” The relocation brought them to the heart of Europe’s most romantic settings, a constant source of inspiration.
“Our photography style can be described as redefined authenticity,” Jurgita begins. “It’s a blend of elegant storytelling and heartfelt emotion with a touch of editorial feel. We aim to create images that are timeless, emotionally charged, and full of life.”
Their approach is inspired by the unique energy of each wedding day. “Our style is sophisticated yet personal, with a focus on genuine emotions, unposed moments, and the meaningful details that define a couple’s story,” Mindaugas adds. “Whether it’s the sparkle in their eyes during the vows, the quiet joy in an intimate glance, or a wild afterparty—we strive to document it all.”
Their aesthetic leans toward modern and polished, but they also embrace the raw beauty of imperfection. “Our approach is intuitive—we observe, sense the energy of the day, and capture it in a way that resonates deeply,” Mindaugas reflects.
Their photography is for modern couples who want their wedding photos to be as unique as their love story. “ Ultimately, our goal is to create a collection of photographs that feels like a heartbeat—alive with emotion, connection, and the essence of the couple’s love story,” Jurgita says firmly.
“Our main cameras are Sony and Nikon,” Mindaugas shares with pride. “Both of which offer incredible versatility and quality for capturing every detail of a wedding day.” This dynamic duo relies on these trusted brands to ensure their photographs are sharp, vibrant, and filled with emotion.
When it comes to lenses, Jurgita elaborates, “We love working with prime lenses, particularly the Zeiss 85mm and 40mm, as well as the 35mm and 24mm lenses, which allow us to achieve stunning depth, sharpness, and wide-angle perspectives for a variety of shots—from intimate moments to expansive venue views.”
To elevate their storytelling, Nakutis Photography incorporates aerial perspectives. “We rely on our DJI drone, which is perfect for showcasing the beauty of the venue and its surroundings,” Mindaugas explains. Lighting is another critical element of their craft. “the Godox flash is our go-to choice for creating modern, dynamic vibes, especially during evening celebrations or indoor shoots,” Jurgita says.
What sets Nakutis Photography apart is their fusion of modern technology with classic techniques. “We’re also excited to be experimenting with film cameras, which bring a nostalgic, classic feel to some of our images,” Mindaugas reveals. This balance of cutting-edge digital equipment and the artistry of film allows them to deliver a rich variety of photos.
“Our post-processing approach is meticulous and deeply personal,” Jurgita states firmly. “We handle the entire process ourselves, starting with photo selection. We carefully curate the images that best tell the wedding day's story, ensuring every detail, emotion, and moment is thoughtfully included.”
Mindaugas adds, “We work with Camera Raw and Photoshop to hand-edit every photo we deliver, staying true to our vision and the couple’s aesthetic. We do not use any AI services for editing; every adjustment is made manually to ensure that each image reflects the artistry and care we bring to our work. Colors are kept true to tone, respecting the palette and design choices the couple has carefully planned and dreamed of for their day.”
“In addition to vibrant color edits, we include a selection of black-and-white photos,” Jurgita says with a smile. “These timeless images highlight raw emotions, dramatic moments, and a classic feel that adds depth to the overall gallery.”
“Our approach is rooted in connection,” Jurgita shares. “We don’t see ourselves as the center of attention; instead, we observe, listen, and feel the energy of the people we work with. Every wedding is unique, and our goal is to create a visual narrative that reflects the individuality and love of each couple.”

Mindaugas nods in agreement. “We’re endlessly inspired by the diversity of cultures, traditions, and personal styles we encounter—from the elegance of fashion choices to the heartfelt moments shared between family and friends.” For them, photography is much more than a job; it’s an opportunity to honor the individuality of every love story.
The duo also thrives on the creative challenges their work presents. “Pushing ourselves creatively, adapting to new environments, and finding fresh perspectives,” Mindaugas shares. Travel plays a significant role in their inspiration. “The opportunity to travel and experience different places adds an extra layer of excitement and inspiration to our work,” Jurgita explains. “Whether it’s the energy of a bustling city or the serenity of a countryside villa, every setting fuels our creativity.”
“Yes, we absolutely do destination weddings!” Jurgita exclaims with enthusiasm. “While we are based in Italy and work extensively in stunning locations like Lake Como, Tuscany, Florence, Rome and the Amalfi Coast, we also love traveling across Europe and beyond.” But their passion for capturing love knows no borders. “Some of our favorite European destinations include Switzerland, Spain, Malta, Mallorca, Austria, and France,” Jurgita shares.
Beyond Europe, they’ve been fortunate to document love stories in far-flung destinations like Mexico, the Caribbean, Mauritius, and the United States. “Each location brings its own unique charm and inspiration, making every wedding a fresh and exciting experience,” Mindaugas says. Choosing a favorite destination isn’t easy for the duo. “Every place has its magic,” Jurgita reflects.
“Wherever the celebration takes us,” Jurgita concludes, “We’re passionate about creating images that resonate deeply with the beauty of the location and the love of the couple.”
“We typically provide 10-12 hours of coverage for a one-day wedding or event,” Mindaugas shares. “This timeframe allows us to document the day comprehensively, from the excitement of getting ready to the heartfelt ceremony and all the way through to the lively celebrations at the reception.”
Jurgita elaborates, “We find this duration is ideal for capturing not only the key moments but also the candid, in-between ones that truly tell the story of the day. For multi-day events, we tailor our coverage to ensure every part of the celebration is beautifully documented.”

Mindaugas adds, “We start by asking detailed questions to understand their priorities, expectations, and the scope of their celebration—whether it’s the guest count, the venue, or multiple events happening simultaneously.
