Ashlee Brooke’s journey behind the lens began long before her professional career. As a child, she was already drawn to the beauty of freezing time—snapping away on her parents' 35mm camera, eager to develop rolls of film and relive each moment through pictures. That early fascination grew into a lifelong pursuit of storytelling through photography—culminating in a career built on heart, trust, and timeless imagery.
“From a young age, I was very into art and loved taking photos on my parents' 35mm camera. It was my favorite thing to get photos developed.”
Today, based in the scenic mountain town of Park City, Utah, Ashlee specializes in wedding and family photography, capturing love stories with a refined blend of emotion and elegance. Her signature look: true-to-life color, thoughtful composition, and a nostalgic, film-inspired aesthetic.
Ashlee first began photographing weddings in 2008—often for friends and family. As her passion intensified and her bookings grew, she decided to take a leap. By 2012, she had fully embraced photography as her full-time career.
“I was in my early 20s when I officially started my business. Since then, it’s been nearly 20 years of doing what I love.”
With nearly two decades of experience, she’s built a brand that resonates with couples who value sincerity and soul in every frame. Her work is more than pretty pictures—it’s visual storytelling filled with warmth, real connection, and quiet beauty.
Ashlee’s photography style is best described as timeless and true to life. She avoids trends that fade and instead leans into natural tones and genuine expressions. Every photo is crafted to feel like a moment suspended in time.
“True color and timeless imagery with a film-inspired aesthetic. I love capturing candid, emotional moments that tell a love story.”
From soft glances to joyful laughter, her photos honor the realness of a wedding day. Behind the scenes, she carefully curates each gallery with a meticulous eye—adjusting color, contrast, and composition while preserving the authenticity of every moment.
“I will retouch a few images here and there for skin, exit signs, other distractions when needed.”
Ashlee’s creative partnership with Nikon began in 2004, and it continues to this day.
“I’ve been shooting with Nikon since my first film SLR in 2004!”
Whether she’s working in a sun-drenched Utah valley or on the shores of Hawaii, her gear is an extension of her artistry—reliable, intuitive, and always ready to capture the fleeting moments that define a love story.
One of Ashlee’s greatest strengths is her ability to create a space where clients feel at ease in front of the camera. Her sessions are known for their relaxed, fun atmosphere that puts even the most camera-shy couples at ease.
“Clients consistently praise my ability to make them feel comfortable and relaxed, even during posed sessions.”
She doesn’t just photograph her clients—she gets to know them. That human connection is the secret ingredient that makes her work so intimate and resonant.
“Clients typically find me and hire me because they are drawn to my photography brand and style.”
What makes Ashlee’s work unforgettable isn’t just her technical skill—it’s her understanding of what her photos will mean to her clients decades from now. She treats each moment with care, knowing her images will become heirlooms for generations.
“It’s truly an honor to know I’m giving them something they'll look back on for a lifetime.”
Ashlee takes on a select number of destination weddings and admits she has a soft spot for tropical beauty.
“A select amount! I have to say, Hawaii.”
After nearly 20 years in business, Ashlee has one core piece of advice for her younger self and any aspiring photographer:
“It’s going to be a lot of time, work, and patience… but it’s worth it!”
Her journey is a reminder that artistry takes time to develop and that the most meaningful work often comes from listening, learning, and leading with heart.
Whether she’s capturing the golden glow of a mountain sunset or a teardrop during a father-daughter dance, Ashlee Brooke is more than a photographer—she’s a storyteller with a lens. Her legacy is one of love, light, and the quiet power of a well-captured moment.
