Her passion for photography ignited at just 16, and since then, she has devoted her life to the craft.
Michelle’s journey into photography began in an unexpected place—fashion studies in New York City. But it wasn’t long before she realized that her true passion lay behind the camera. “I fell in love with photography and haven’t turned back since,” Michelle recalls. By 2013, while still in undergrad, she had already started accepting contracts and receiving publication offers.
After completing her studies, she returned to New Jersey, where she established herself as a fine art wedding photographer. Today, Michelle and her talented team serve couples across the tri-state area and beyond, including breathtaking destination weddings.
Michelle’s photography is a masterful blend of artistic elements. “I have a fine art photography approach incorporating an infusion of editorial, photojournalistic, fashion, traditional, and classic portraiture,” she explains. This versatility allows her to create images that feel both authentic and cinematic, capturing every emotion and detail with a refined aesthetic.
Her toolkit is just as sophisticated as her artistic vision. She works with professional-grade mirrorless, DSLR, and SLR camera systems, ensuring that she can adapt seamlessly to any lighting scenario. The magic, however, doesn’t stop at the shutter click. Michelle meticulously refines each image in post-production. “To achieve my consistent and magazine-cover quality style, I complete color-correction and retouching,” she says.
A wedding day is a whirlwind of emotions, and Michelle’s goal is to ensure that every couple enjoys a seamless, stress-free photography experience. “While on-location, I use a fine art editorial approach to achieve a consistent cover-quality style,” she notes. Her ability to guide couples through the process with ease allows them to relax, trust the process, and enjoy their special day.
She believes that customization is key. When asked if she collaborates with couples to tailor packages to their needs, her response is simple: “Always.” Every couple has a unique vision, and Michelle ensures that their photography experience is a perfect reflection of that.
Reflecting on her career, Michelle offers advice to her younger self—and to aspiring photographers. “Be patient, kind, and love on yourself,” she says. Success in the photography industry doesn’t happen overnight, but with persistence, passion, and self-belief, she has built a thriving career doing what she loves.
She also has valuable advice for couples preparing for their wedding photography. “Always be true to your unique vision while planning for your photo shoot or event. You'll have a lot of opinions coming in your direction, stay true to your vision, trust your gut, enjoy the process, and place trust in your vendors to bring your vision to life!”
Michelle’s love for weddings extends far beyond New Jersey. Destination weddings offer an extra layer of adventure and beauty, and one location stands out as her favorite. “Charleston, South Carolina. Absolutely breathtaking, incredible talent, rich history, great food, and shopping!” she shares.
