I started unexpectedly: while studying psychology, photography was just a hobby I practiced on Sundays at my church. By the time I graduated, I already had contracts – now I’m living that utopia!
This surprising beginning laid the foundation for something bigger. Though she experimented in many photography genres early on, what truly captivated her was weddings: “Although I’ve done many types of photography, weddings captivated me.”
Fann Reyes Wedding psychology degree plays an essential role: “My psychology background enriches my work: I read environments, practice active listening, and apply color psychology in my editing.” This means Estefania isn’t only capturing two people — she’s capturing a web of emotions, spaces, colors and reactions.
She explains: “I document not just the couple, but their entire environment: the sky, the reactions, the spaces, and every detail that made their moment unique.”
With seven years behind the camera, she defines her approach clearly: “My style combines documentary, editorial, cinematic, and artistic elements.”

“I love transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary, and sometimes even into art. There’s magic in finding beauty in unexpected moments,” she says.

When asked what equipment she uses, she smiles simply: “I love SONY!”

“In post-processing,” she says, “my primary tool is Lightroom. I’m passionate about achieving the specific colors I envision to convey the desired intention and emotion in each image.” Color isn’t just aesthetic — it’s emotional. Her background in psychology helps her choose tones that reflect mood, energy and story.
What makes her work stand out is her process. “I start by talking with them to learn their story and their vision for their wedding. This helps me understand what approach to take and how my talent can best serve them.”

“Of course” she confirms when asked if she can create a custom package: “I can work with the couple to create a custom package that meets their specific needs.”
Her emphasis is on authenticity, on weaving together vision, environment and relationship.
If she could speak to her younger self, she’d say:
The best tool you’ll ever have is the one within you. Trust yourself, trust your vision, and be brave enough to pursue it!

“The more you can be yourselves and stay connected with each other, the better and more genuine your photos will turn out!”

Yes — destination weddings are her specialty. She travels across Mexico and internationally, building memories in diverse landscapes.
“I love San Miguel de Allende and Los Cabos in Mexico,” she shares, “but I’m dying to get back to Europe to photograph a wedding.”
