But their artistry extends beyond still frames. "In addition to photography, we also offer videography - so our overall style is undoubtedly influenced by cinema, adding an extra dimension of movement and playfulness to our work."

The Tools of Timeless Artistry

When asked about their equipment, Ash proudly states, "For both photography and videography we shoot with Sony and use a mix of prime lenses and zooms. Our go-to lenses are a 24mm, 35mm and 85mm for photography and a zoom lens for video. We also love flash photography and use Godox."

Their post-processing approach is equally meticulous. "Our post-processing approach is intentionally minimal, aiming to enhance each photograph while maintaining its true colours. This subtle and refined editing style is at the heart of our timeless aesthetic. We also match our video editing to our photography to create a synthesis between mediums."

"Capturing moments in our couples' lives that are both fleeting and monumental is a great privilege," Holii says with a soft smile. Our approach is centred around communication and collaboration, inviting our clients to share their wedding hopes and dreams whenever they like. Establishing trust is essential in our process - it allows our clients to feel comfortable and excited about sharing their day with us, and inspires us to do our best work."

Recognizing the importance of preparation, they share some wisdom: "Try to stay relaxed and enjoy the moment. Trust your photographer to capture beautiful images, and remember to have fun throughout the process. While it's important to have a plan, be flexible and open to spontaneity. Some of the best moments and photos can arise unexpectedly."

When inquired about the logistics of their services, Holii & Ash are upfront and accommodating. Their comfortable wedding count per year is around 30. Holii elaborates on their coverage, "10 hours locally and multi-day coverage for destination weddings."

As for pricing, their minimum 10-hour package starts at $9000, but they’re always happy to work with couples to create a custom package that meets their specific needs. “We have extensive packages including photography and/or videography, with lots of different add-ons available," they add.

With eyes sparkling, Holii adds, "We're excited to add New York to the list in May 2024."
