“For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by photography,” they shared. “I realized early on how many of my childhood memories were shaped and preserved through photographs. A single image could bring back the sights, sounds, scents, and emotions of a moment in vivid detail.”
This early realization sparked a lifelong relationship with the camera. Starting with a 35mm film camera and moving through years of formal training in the visual arts program at the University of British Columbia, the creative journey was layered with influences from art history, fine art, and a deep appreciation for fashion aesthetics.
After graduating, Beige Weddings initially pursued fashion photography, shooting for notable brands and learning the delicate balance between creativity and commercialism. But everything changed after a fateful opportunity: “In an unexpected but beautiful twist, I was hired to photograph a couple’s wedding.”
It was the perfect union—of visual storytelling, emotional authenticity, and artistic refinement. “From that experience, I discovered a deep love for capturing weddings—bringing art into real life, documenting adventures and raw emotions, and helping couples preserve their milestones forever.”
“It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 12 years now!” they reflected. The wedding industry has shifted dramatically in that time, with couples embracing more intentional, personalized celebrations.
“We’re now living in an era where weddings are so much more personal, creative, and deeply emotional. Couples are embracing their own unique styles, making each celebration feel truly one-of-a-kind—and I absolutely love being a part of that.”
That evolution fuels the Beige Weddings approach—honoring each couple’s individuality while crafting imagery that stands the test of time.

Their journey with film still shapes their workflow today. “FUJIFILM 400h was where I started my photography journey,” they explained. While the world has largely shifted to digital, the soul of analog remains central to Beige Weddings' aesthetic.
“Now we mainly shoot with FUJIFILM (from GFX100S to XT5) along with a full package of professional-grade lenses.”
The post-processing phase is approached with the same care and intention as the shoot itself. “With my background in fashion, our post-processing approach goes beyond standard color editing. We meticulously enhance each image with true-to-life colors inspired by classic film tones like FUJI400H, but elevated to create a timeless aesthetic.”
But it doesn’t stop there. “Beyond that, we apply detailed retouching in Photoshop to ensure every single frame is thoughtfully refined.”
Beige Weddings sees editing not as an afterthought, but as part of the storytelling. “Our goal is to deliver images that feel like the perfect (and sometimes perfectly imperfect) representation of your day—captured beautifully and crafted to be magazine-quality, ready to be printed as cherished heirlooms.”
What keeps Beige Weddings inspired isn’t just the visual aspect—it’s the emotional impact. “The most rewarding part of what we do is when we receive those heartfelt messages from our clients saying, ‘WOW, I didn’t even know we could look this good,’ or ‘You truly captured every essence of our wedding day, from every detail to every emotion.’”

And the golden rule? “Laugh, hold hands, steal kisses, and most importantly, look at each other, not the camera (unless we ask you to, haha!). Let your connection shine, and we’ll take care of the rest.”
As seasoned destination wedding photographers, Beige Weddings finds inspiration across the globe. “Yes, we LOVE destination weddings! Europe holds a special place in our hearts—France, in particular, for its timeless, old-world romance.”
But their sense of wanderlust is far-reaching. “Honestly, we’re always up for an adventure, whether it’s the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, a sun-soaked coastal paradise, or anything else the world has to offer.”
