In a world where fleeting moments become eternal treasures, Tracy Burch stands as a beacon of refined documentary photography. With over 14 years of experience, her artistry lies not only in capturing weddings but in transforming them into luxurious, emotive stories that linger in the hearts of those who witness them.
"I would describe my work to be refined artistry," Tracy begins. "With over a decade of experience photographing events, I find great joy in preserving moments. My work is greatly influenced by the setting, each couple’s unique personality, and the details in between that make their event beautiful."
Based on a small farm surrounded by her beloved husband, children, and animals, Tracy finds balance between the fast-paced world of weddings and the tranquility of country life. "I value relationships above all as I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and children, gardening, and tending to the animals on our small farm."
This rootedness gives her work an emotional depth that clients instantly connect with.
Tracy describes her style as “refined documentary.” It’s a phrase that perfectly captures her approach: timeless yet intimate, artistic yet grounded.
"I strive to deliver a gallery that tells the story of the day, while preserving the upmost luxurious photographs."
Her ability to merge journalistic integrity with high-end beauty has earned her a distinct reputation within the wedding industry.
What sets Tracy apart isn’t just her eye for detail, but her commitment to the process.
"My medium of choice is my Contax 645," she shares, highlighting her preference for film photography. For digital work, she trusts her Sony A1 cameras. To maintain her signature look, Tracy relies on the Rewind film lab in Orange County, California, and applies Archetype Profiles to her digital images.
This hybrid workflow ensures that each frame—whether on film or digital—is steeped in elegance and consistency.
Tracy's approach goes beyond just technical excellence—her emotional connection with her clients is at the heart of everything she does.
"By getting to know clients on a personal level, what makes them smile and laugh. Offering my hospitality to each and every guest at the event."
This warmth and attentiveness have become the foundation of her business. "Each and every collection is created to fit my clients' needs," she adds.
What Tracy enjoys most about being a photographer is, in her own words: "Experiencing weddings and clients that are all different in their own ways. I also love traveling the world and seeing new places."
It’s this openness to new experiences that fuels her creative flame.
When asked what she’d tell her younger self, her advice is simple yet powerful: "Enjoy each level of success."
Tracy recommends that her clients schedule an engagement session ahead of the big day.
"I enjoy when my clients choose to do an engagement session before the wedding, it allows us to get to know one another," she says. This extra step not only builds trust, but ensures more relaxed, authentic moments when it matters most.
Tracy’s work has taken her across the globe, photographing weddings in awe-inspiring locales. One destination that recently stole her heart?
"Each and every destination is special in its own way, but I recently photographed a wedding in Anguilla and it was very unique and wonderful!"
What keeps Tracy inspired after all these years? The answer is both simple and sincere:
