His fascination with photography began in childhood, and despite officially starting with digital, he also had the privilege of experiencing the charm of film. “I belong to that lucky generation that, despite officially starting out with digital photography, also experienced the era of film and the charm of those cameras, which remain magnificent and efficient to this day.” This deep-rooted appreciation for both mediums is evident in his work, blending vintage allure with modern techniques.
With 15 years of experience, Federico has perfected his craft and carved out a signature style that is both timeless and evocative. He describes it as “a mix of moody and editorial,” ensuring his images feel iconic yet natural. “I don’t like to follow fleeting trends; instead, I strive to maintain an iconic yet natural aesthetic.” His goal is to create images that transcend time, preserving the beauty and authenticity of each moment.
Federico’s choice of equipment reflects his commitment to quality and authenticity. He works with both digital and film, using two Nikon Z8s and two Sony A1s for digital photography. His film kit includes a Nikon F100, a Nikon F3, and a Leica M7. “When photographing weddings, I prefer prime lenses—my go-to choices are the 35mm and 50mm, as they allow me to capture moments with a natural and timeless feel.”
Federico follows a simple yet effective editing philosophy, prioritizing natural beauty over excessive retouching. “I primarily edit my photos in Lightroom, aiming for a minimal and non-invasive approach.” He firmly believes that capturing the perfect moment in-camera is the key to maintaining the authenticity of an image.

As a Tuscany-based photographer, Federico finds himself surrounded by some of the world’s most breathtaking backdrops. “Italy is an extraordinary country, rich in biodiversity and diverse regional cultures.” His love for the diverse landscapes of his homeland is undeniable—from the rolling hills of Tuscany to the grandeur of Lake Como, from the rustic charm of Puglia’s masserie to the dramatic beauty of the Amalfi Coast. “With so many incredible places, how could I possibly have a favorite?”
Though primarily working within Italy, Federico is open to international travels, especially within Europe during wedding season. His experience with destination weddings allows him to bring a fresh perspective and adaptability to every setting.
