“I think my background as a former elementary teacher helps me to bring a calmness to my sessions.”

“I’m also deeply aware that, in some cases, these images may be the last truly beautiful photos of beloved family members. I’ve experienced this firsthand, and it reinforces how meaningful my work is.”
As a hybrid photographer, Megan masterfully blends digital and film techniques. She relies on Nikon equipment for her digital work and incorporates 35mm film for its rich, tactile quality.
“I currently use Nikon gear for both digital and 35mm film photography.”

“The goal of my post-processing is to refine my work to achieve a film-like quality. I’m a meticulous editor, dedicating significant time to ensuring consistent tones across galleries and making sure my clients look their absolute best.”
Megan handles all digital post-processing herself, ensuring each image retains her signature touch.
Megan’s approach to working with clients is built on trust and collaboration. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, she ensures every couple’s vision comes to life.
“My goal is to collaborate closely with each couple, ensuring their wedding photography experience is truly personalized.”
She begins with a video call to understand their personalities and expectations, conducts venue walkthroughs to plan key photo spots, and works with wedding planners to stay attuned to every important moment.
“If a wedding planner is involved, I coordinate with them to ensure I’m aware of every important moment.”
For Megan, making clients feel comfortable is paramount.
“I prioritize making my clients feel comfortable, so they can fully enjoy the experience.”
Understanding that no two weddings are alike, Megan offers customizable packages tailored to each couple’s needs.
“I’ve designed a wedding calculator to cater to the unique needs of each couple. Whether a client wants just 7 hours or something different, I can customize a package that’s perfectly tailored to their day.”

“The best thing a client can do is reach out with any questions or ideas. I’m always more than happy to collaborate closely to bring their vision to life—communication is key!”

“I’m also available to assist with styling for photoshoots, as I believe the right styling can elevate a session from good to truly extraordinary.”
Though her heart lies in the Pacific Northwest, Megan is always open to destination weddings.
“I typically shoot weddings mostly in the Pacific Northwest, but I am open to travel!”
