Some studios are born from business plans. Ideavisual was born from passion, timing, and a shared creative instinct.
Celeste Piccoli’s story began early.
“I started taking photos when I was 15, during high school. At first, it was just a hobby, but friends began noticing my work on social media and asked me to photograph birthdays, portraits, parties, and sporting events.”
What began as experimentation — especially with film photography and artificial light — slowly evolved into a calling. After high school, she chose to pursue photography professionally, earning a degree in Multimedia Arts followed by a Master’s in Filmmaking.
Edgardo’s path was equally creative, yet distinct.
“He discovered photography and graphic design at 15, starting with small design projects for brochures, events, and local businesses.”
He later specialized in 3D and motion graphics, building a 15-year career rooted in visual storytelling and digital craftsmanship.
Ten years ago, their worlds aligned.
“We met while working at the same company — he was part of the team and I was completing a university internship. From that moment, we combined our paths into a shared vision: to create a studio that merges our passions and offers creativity, elegance, and quality to couples who trust us with their story.”
Ideavisual was the natural result.
Ideavisual officially entered the wedding industry in 2016, beginning with video services.
“We officially entered the wedding industry in 2016, starting with video services only. Photography soon followed, which I had already been practicing personally for years.”
What started as cinematic wedding films quickly expanded into a fully integrated photography and video experience — shaped by their combined artistic backgrounds.
Today, their approach feels seamless because it is built on years of visual storytelling across multiple disciplines.
Ask Celeste to define their style, and she speaks of balance.
This duality is what defines Ideavisual’s signature look.
“We love guiding couples with refined, magazine-inspired portraits, helping them with locations and posing, while also capturing the most authentic and emotional moments of the day: a hug, a laugh, a spontaneous tear.”
The result is imagery that feels elevated but never staged — polished yet emotionally real.
Their technical approach supports that aesthetic.
“We work with Canon digital cameras and professional Canon lenses with wide apertures, combined with Profoto lighting. We love the clean, crisp light they allow us to create.”
Light, for Ideavisual, is not just a technical element. It’s a storytelling tool.
For Celeste and Edgardo, editing is not about transformation — it’s about enhancement.
“Post-production is where emotion and creativity truly come together. If the work on the day is done well, editing becomes a way to enhance the story rather than change it.”
Each image receives individual attention.
“We apply a tailor-made post-production to every wedding, working on each image individually. We are extremely selective and detail-oriented, reviewing everything several times until the final result fully reflects our vision.”
That meticulous process ensures consistency and depth — images that feel cohesive, intentional, and emotionally resonant.
At Ideavisual, the creative process begins long before the wedding day.
“We start with introductory meetings and video calls to really understand each couple.”
Communication and clarity are essential.
“Together, we plan the timing of the day and encourage sharing it with all vendors so everyone works in harmony.”
Mood boards and visual references play an important role in aligning expectations.
“We also ask for visual references. Many couples say they only want documentary images, but their inspiration often includes photos that are quietly guided.”
That collaborative preparation allows the day to unfold naturally — without confusion or unrealistic expectations.
“Creating a mood board and visual story before the wedding makes everything clearer and the day flow naturally.”
When asked what they love most about their profession, the answer feels deeply human.
“We have always felt this is the best job in the world. It allows us to meet people, travel, and connect with different cultures.”
Weddings, for Ideavisual, are not repetitive productions.
“They’re creative, dynamic, and never repetitive.”
Each week brings new traditions, new stories, new emotions.
“Every week we meet new couples, learn about their traditions, their dreams, and their expectations. It keeps us curious, inspired, and, above all, young.”
That curiosity is visible in their work — an openness to light, culture, and atmosphere.
Ideavisual stepped into destination weddings in 2021 — at a moment when the world felt uncertain.
“We started doing destination weddings in 2021, right at the time of Covid, when everything was unpredictable due to travel restrictions. So it was a difficult journey.”
Despite the challenges, destination work quickly became their core focus.
The Mediterranean landscape shapes their aesthetic profoundly.
“We love the sea, light, and Mediterranean atmosphere.”
One location, in particular, left a lasting impression.
“After capturing a wedding in Capri, we were completely enchanted by its beauty.”
The Amalfi Coast continues to call them back.
“We can’t wait to return to the Amalfi Coast for more weddings.”
It’s easy to see why. The soft coastal light, historic architecture, and dramatic cliffs perfectly complement Ideavisual’s refined editorial style.
Understanding that every couple’s vision differs, Ideavisual offers structured yet flexible options.
“We offer six wedding collections and two elopement options, plus a range of add-ons.”
Their goal is not to overwhelm, but to guide.
“Our goal is to guide couples clearly and help them find the solution that fits their vision and priorities.”
Preparation is a collaborative process.
When couples arrive prepared — visually and emotionally — the result is storytelling that feels intentional rather than improvised.
At its core, Ideavisual represents more than photography and film.
It represents:
a fusion of multimedia artistry and cinematic expertise
an editorial eye grounded in documentary honesty
a deep respect for cultural traditions and destination storytelling
and a love for Mediterranean light and timeless Italian settings
Through refined composition, meticulous editing, and thoughtful collaboration, Celeste Piccoli and Edgardo continue to create wedding imagery that feels both contemporary and enduring.
Not simply captured.
But carefully crafted.
With elegance, intention, and emotion in every frame.
