For the founder of Rose Vine Studios, it all began in the heart of Bangkok. Born to a Thai-Chinese family, she discovered her passion early on.
“I received my first Kodak camera on my 12th birthday — and from there, my love for storytelling began.”
From that simple gift, a lifelong journey unfolded—one filled with artistic exploration, cultural appreciation, and a growing desire to tell stories through images.
Before founding Rose Vine Studios, she was a musician and full-time YouTuber, creating and sharing original music, videos, and vlogs with an international audience. That chapter, filled with creativity and connection, was a powerful training ground for her visual storytelling.
“Over time, I realized my greatest passion lies in connecting with people, learning their stories, and creating meaningful art.”
Her marketing degree from the University of Toronto gave her the tools to turn that passion into a polished, client-centered business—where art, service, and storytelling meet.
Since stepping into the wedding world eight years ago, her studio has become known for a distinct aesthetic and heartfelt approach. With each wedding, she deepens her connection to her craft and the people she serves.
“What I love most about being a photographer is getting to witness so many different love stories, cultures, and celebrations from all around the world — each one beautifully unique in its own way.”
Ask her to describe her photography style, and four words say it all: editorial, timeless, documentary, romantic. There’s a refined elegance to every frame, yet a realness that keeps it grounded.
Her goal? Not just to create beautiful images—but to tell a complete story through mood, movement, and meaningful detail.
Rose Vine Studios blends the modern sharpness of digital photography with the nostalgic softness of 35mm film. The result is a gallery that feels both fresh and timeless.
“We photograph using both digital and 35mm film to capture a mix of timeless and modern aesthetics. Our team primarily shoots with prime lenses to create that signature dreamy, soft bokeh effect that brings each moment to life.”
Their editing process enhances the beauty of the day while preserving its authenticity. Subtle refinements replace heavy filters. Every color is considered—whites are pure, greens stay natural, tones are true.
“We aim to keep our colors timeless and true to life. In our editing, we love maintaining a clean and crisp contrast — where whites stay true white, greens remain natural, and every tone feels authentic to the day.”
“Our post-processing style focuses on enhancing the natural beauty of the moment without heavy alterations. We carefully remove small distracting objects to ensure each photo looks polished, elegant, and tells the story as seamlessly as possible. Our goal is to deliver images that feel both refined and deeply meaningful, standing the test of time.”
At Rose Vine Studios, communication is everything. From the very first consultation, the team works to understand each couple’s vision—then builds a plan that’s both artistic and intentional.
“We take a very hands-on approach when working with our clients to achieve their vision. Communication is key — we prioritize timely, thoughtful responses and send personalized questionnaires to learn more about their story and what they are envisioning.”
“We also provide a curated guide filled with timeline suggestions, tips, and tricks to help them feel fully prepared for the wedding day. We encourage couples to share mood boards so we can discuss the vision together and align on the look and feel they want. Finally, we walk them through the logistics and recommend packages that best fit their needs, ensuring the entire experience feels smooth, collaborative, and tailored to them.”
Some couples need all-day coverage across multiple events. Others are eloping with a smaller circle. Either way, flexibility is key.
“Yes.”
With custom packages available, every couple gets exactly what they need—no more, no less—without compromising on the studio’s signature style.
To help couples feel confident in front of the lens, Rose Vine Studios provides a wedding guide filled with helpful tips, from light and location to posing and timeline planning.
“Absolutely. In fact, we have a curated wedding guide that we update every year based on the latest industry trends and best practices. It is designed to help our couples feel fully prepared, offering tips for timelines, getting ready details, portrait sessions, and everything in between.”
“One important tip we always share is to ensure the locations you choose align with the overall vision you are dreaming of. For example, if you are going for an Old Hollywood aesthetic, we would recommend incorporating European-inspired elements and architectural backdrops that complement that style.”
Destination weddings are a cornerstone of the studio’s work. And while they've traveled extensively, there’s one city that holds a special place in her heart.
“Yes. Barcelona, Spain.”
With its golden light, historic charm, and effortless romance, Barcelona reflects the same qualities that define Rose Vine Studios’ work: timeless beauty and emotional storytelling.
At the heart of everything Rose Vine Studios does is one simple mission: to tell a story that couples can relive for a lifetime.
“Hearing our couples say they can relive their day over and over again through our work is the greatest reward.”
From the streets of Bangkok to European villas and everywhere in between, every love story becomes art in her hands—crafted with care, clarity, and so much heart.
