Mamori Studio’s journey began in the most personal of places—her first child’s everyday moments. “My true passion began with the birth of my first child,” she shares, recalling how daily glimpses of love first ignited her creative spark.
Relocating to Thailand in 2020 marked a turning point. Having initially captured families and couples, wedding inquiries naturally followed—leading her deeper into storytelling through weddings.
While her passion began as a hobby, it was in 2022 that Mamori Studio officially turned pro. “I began working professionally in 2022, initially photographing families and couples… gradually expanded into wedding photography.” It was an authentic evolution, driven by an unending pursuit to “improve and give more.”
Describing her style, Mamori Studio says: “It blends documentary and editorial elements, focusing on authentic, emotive storytelling with a timeless, romantic aesthetic.” Natural light is her mainstay; still, she doesn’t hesitate to use flash when the moment calls for bold, editorial energy.
Film photography has a special place in her heart: “I’m drawn to its texture, unpredictability, and nostalgic beauty.” This analog choice infuses her work with depth and soul.
She relies on professional-grade Sony mirrorless cameras and flexible zoom lenses to stay quick and adaptive. When she wants that editorial lift—especially at receptions or portraits—she employs flash thoughtfully, always aiming to enhance authenticity, not overshadow it.
Mamori Studio champions natural beauty. “I focus on natural-looking color correction and minimal retouching,” she explains, emphasizing that she does not “heavily Photoshop or alter people’s features” because “everyone’s true beauty lies in their unique, natural self.” Her post-processing is about clarity—not perfection.
What truly lights her path is connection. “When my clients feel comfortable and truly connect with me, I’m invited to witness their most intimate, genuine moments.” Many couples remain cherished friends long after the wedding—an enduring testament to the human bond she builds.
Mamori Studio believes in personal foundations. She prefers a video meet-and-greet before booking. “I strive to be more of a friend than just a photographer,” she says, engaging deeply with every detail—from dresses to decor.
She often visits venues a day early to build trust and scout. Pre-wedding shoots help everyone relax into the process. On the big day, her direction is soft—*“gentle guidance and encouraging natural movement”—*embracing spontaneity over stiffness.
Her commitment to individuality shines through in her approach to packages. “Yes—definitely! I can work with each couple to create a custom package that meets their specific needs.”
Looking back, she says she’d remind her younger self to “prioritize building genuine relationships over rushing to gain clients… focusing on authentic connections creates a foundation of trust and loyalty.” Alongside that, she’d emphasize patience: “meaningful progress takes time and perseverance.”
She encourages clients to be themselves. “Authenticity makes the best photos.” That means choosing comfortable attire, planning with breathing room, and communicating expectations early. In service of this, she provides a complete wedding guide filled with useful pointers to help clients feel confident and at ease.
Since last year, Mamori Studio has stepped into destination weddings—driven not only by professional growth but personal ties: “I visit my family in Europe every summer.”
Her photography bucket list includes Italy, Spain, France, and Greece—“each destination has its own unique charm and beauty,” she notes, eager to weave love stories amid those stunning backdrops.
