Nelly’s artistry is supported by precision and mastery of her craft. Her Canon R5 and 24–70mm lens are her trusted companions, offering versatility and sharpness in every scenario. “I primarily shoot with the Canon R5, my go-to lens is the 24–70mm, and I use the Godox V1 flash,” she explains.
For sweeping landscapes and cinematic perspectives, she turns to the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone, allowing her to incorporate the grandeur of a location into her storytelling. These tools are extensions of her vision—chosen not for technology’s sake, but for the emotion they help her capture.
When it comes to post-production, Nelly approaches editing as an artist finishing a painting. “I focus on creating a timeless and natural look for my images,” she says. Using Lightroom and Photoshop, she enhances light, tones, and textures to achieve an aesthetic that feels polished yet real.
Her philosophy is rooted in subtlety: “I retouch skin to look flawless without over-editing, ensuring each photo feels authentic and polished.” This careful attention to detail ensures that every image preserves the genuine essence of the day, beautifully refined without losing its soul.

She approaches every wedding with intention and care, beginning with a personal consultation. “I start with a consultation to understand their vision, plan the timeline, and scout locations to ensure the best possible results,” Nelly explains. “On the day, I offer subtle direction to help them feel at ease, capturing genuine moments that tell the story of their special day.”

To maintain her signature style, Nelly limits herself to 20–25 weddings per year. “This allows me to dedicate the time and attention each couple deserves while maintaining my signature quality and style,” she says. Her dedication ensures that each wedding receives not only her full creative energy but also the personal touch that defines her brand.
Her 10–12 hour coverage packages are designed to tell a full story—from the first quiet moments of getting ready to the joy of the final dance. “Each wedding has its own rhythm,” she adds, “and I love documenting the full story from start to finish.”
Reflecting on her journey, Nelly offers advice that’s both heartfelt and hard-earned. “If I could give advice to my younger self just starting out, I’d say: trust your vision and don’t compare yourself too much to others,” she shares. Her words carry the calm confidence of someone who has found her rhythm.

When asked what advice she gives to her clients, Nelly’s answer is simple and beautiful. “My biggest tip is to just relax and enjoy the experience—the best photos come when you’re comfortable and having fun,” she says. “For couples, I always suggest focusing on each other rather than the camera—those natural, in-between moments are often the most beautiful.”

For Nelly, travel is both a source of inspiration and an extension of her art. “Yes, I absolutely do destination weddings—they’re some of my favorite experiences!” she says enthusiastically.
It’s hard to pick just one favorite, but Italy and France have a special place in my heart.
