“I’m Claudia, head designer and CEO of El Jardín del Cabo. Our wedding floral business is a family business built on an immense love for florals and attention to detail.”
From the very beginning, El Jardín del Cabo has been shaped by two essential elements: a deep respect for flowers and an almost instinctive attention to detail. Founded by Claudia’s mother in 2008, the studio has grown into a trusted name in wedding floristry, known for its generous compositions and thoughtful, couple-centered designs.
Those foundations still guide every project today. “Those two factors are key to the result in our work: abundant and generous floral set-ups, tailored closely to speak about each couple on their special day,” Claudia explains.
Working from a floral workspace surrounded by mountains and nature, the team travels throughout Spain and beyond — from Barcelona and Madrid to Marbella, Valencia, and even Italy — bringing their vision to life in some of Europe’s most beautiful settings.
“Having been in the industry for almost two decades now, we have decorated hundreds and hundreds of weddings, worked with countless amazing clients and wedding planners, travelled all round Spain and nearby European countries to set-up our florals, and loved every second of it.”
For Claudia, the emotional weight of wedding floristry is never lost in the logistics or scale of production.
“Being a part of someone’s wedding day is huge,” she says. “The feeling of knowing that our florals will be a part of their amazing live core memories is so fulfilling.”
There’s a quiet ritual that happens at the end of every installation — a pause before stepping away. “We also very much love taking in the beauty of our designs right before we leave the set-ups and just before guests and couple see it,” she shares. “We work surrounded by beauty which is something not many people can say.”
With hundreds of weddings behind them, inspiration now often comes from change — new locations, unfamiliar venues, and fast-paced schedules.
“We love every wedding we're a part of,” Claudia says, “however it's always super exciting working in new environments: new venues, high-profile clients, tight set-up turnarounds…”
Those moments demand precision, adaptability, and trust — qualities that have become second nature to the El Jardín del Cabo team.
While flowers remain the heart of their work, creativity at El Jardín del Cabo doesn’t stop there.
“It’s always fascinating to create with as many elements as possible,” Claudia explains.
For her, design is a collaborative space between imagination and willingness. “The possibilities are endless in the design world. We can stretch our imagination as far as the client is willing to.”
Rather than one dominant aesthetic, Claudia sees the future as beautifully diverse.
“I feel like 2025 will bring very diverse styles,” she says.
Classic garden-style florals remain timeless, but experimentation is where excitement lives. “It’s really fun to experiment and create something that'll speak about the couple and feel new and fresh.”
When couples feel unsure about their aesthetic direction, Claudia offers grounded advice.
“Make sure your wedding decoration fits you, who you are, what you like,” she says. “Don't follow trends if they're not up your alley, you'll only regret it a few years down the line.”
Longevity matters. “Your wedding aesthetic has to be something you can look back on decades from now and still feel like it was exactly what you had envisioned.”
While inspiration shifts with each project, certain blooms remain close to Claudia’s heart.
“There’s loads, honestly. And it depends on the style and aesthetic we're working towards,” she says. “But top on my list I'd say: Dahlias, Garden roses, Vanda orchids, Fritillarias, Carnations...”
