From the streets of Buenos Aires to the vineyards of Mendoza, the salt flats in the northwest, and the rugged landscapes of Patagonia, Argentina gives wedding photographers a much broader visual range than most countries, even those three times its size. The photographers featured here stand out because they know how to make the most of these diverse settings rather than sticking to just a few popular spots. Wezoree has found five who truly do this.

VEGACARO

VEGACARO picked up his first camera as an event photographer in 2012 and found his calling in wedding photography by 2015. Based in Buenos Aires but available worldwide, he travels frequently enough that distance rarely becomes a barrier. Every service is customized for the couple in front of him, and meetings happen however works best for them: his studio, a coffee shop, or a video call.

Photojournalism is central to his work. He tells stories by capturing real moments as they unfold and always looks for creative ways to frame each shot. To keep improving, he learns from top professionals and attends Argentina's leading photography conferences and talks.

Olga Martínez

Originally from Colombia and now a naturalized Argentine citizen, she brings a special sensitivity to her work. Olga Martínez understands what it means to be far from loved ones and how precious certain moments can be. Living in Buenos Aires and with more than ten years of experience, she has photographed weddings from many cultures, including Korean and Taiwanese.

She believes in open communication and building trust with every couple. By getting to know people before the wedding, she helps them feel truly comfortable in front of the camera when it counts. Her style is documentary and spontaneous, with a thoughtful editorial touch. Mexico is one of her favorite international destinations, drawn to its vibrant colors, the warmth of its people, and the incredible energy of its celebrations. "What I'm most passionate about is the ability to freeze time and gift entire families the living memory of an unrepeatable day, knowing that the emotional value of those images will multiply over the years," she says.

Mauricio Garay

After eight years in the field, Mauricio Garay chooses to photograph only a select number of weddings each year. His experience in studio, fashion, product, and editorial photography shapes the way he captures every wedding day.

"I always say that being a great photographer is not only about taking beautiful pictures, but about having the sensitivity to truly understand and interpret people," he says. His style is a combination of the sophistication of editorial photography and authentic documentary storytelling, and he draws inspiration from fashion, light, and authentic emotions. Before the big day, he uses questionnaires and conversations to understand what matters most to each couple, ensuring that their final photo gallery feels personal and unique. He considers New York his favorite place in the world. Its energy, creativity, and visual identity are a constant source of inspiration for him. He works in Argentina, the United States, and Europe.

Dream Big

"Perhaps what we value most is knowing that our work becomes part of a family's history. Long after the wedding day is over, those photographs remain," say Laurita and Gaby, the husband-and-wife team behind Dream Big studio. Their style moves fluidly between observation and editorial intention, natural and elegant without heavy editing, soft tones, and a refined cinematic quality that feels luxurious without losing authenticity.

They launched Dream Big together in 2014, building it from scratch as both creative and life partners. By 2018, they realized weddings brought together everything they loved: people, emotions, visual storytelling, and artistic growth. For them, connection always comes first when working with couples. The more they get to know someone, the more personal their photos become. Each year, destination weddings fill much of their calendar. Patagonia, Mendoza, Córdoba, and Cafayate are some of their favorite places in Argentina because each landscape inspires them to see and create in new ways.

Marcos Llanos

Marcos Llano doesn’t keep track of the number of weddings he’s photographed or the number of photos he’s taken. Instead, he focuses on something else: the impact those moments have had on him and on the couples he’s met. After fifteen years behind the camera, that’s what matters most to him.

Cinema, publishing, emotion. That's the style in three words. "What I enjoy most is spending 12 hours with a huge adrenaline rush, shooting everything I see. It's like doing a sport for me, and at the same time, I'm connected to my inner self," he says. He meets with couples as many times as they need beforehand, shows full wedding galleries, and welcomes inspiration boards. The mountains are where he feels most at home.

These five photographers have worked in Argentina, the US, Europe, and other places, each offering a unique style. You can see their full profiles on Wezoree. Browse their portfolios, find the one that matches your vision, and contact them before your date is booked.
