The morning décor was all white, surrounded by white flowers, a beautiful garden, and elegant flower arches. At night, the décor was filled with ivory drapes that created a warm, soft, and romantic ambiance. We went through all the bridezilla moments, but after 1.5 years of preparation, everything truly exceeded my expectations.

Rachel and Daniel put it beautifully: "Now that we’ve gone through the wedding planning process and have completed our wedding, we would strongly recommend all of our friends and family members to plan destination weddings. It is much more intimate and intentional than local, as only those who truly care will travel the lengths to celebrate the special day!" They hosted guests from 7 different countries and at least 5 different US states—about 22.5 hours of travel from their hometown. The result? Their friends made lasting connections with each other, even traveling together around the island after the wedding. "It warmed my heart to hear that our guests made new friends, both local and international friends," Rachel shared.
One thing they particularly valued at SKY was the privacy factor. "We really appreciated the ability to have full privacy, despite having a wedding at a hotel," Rachel explained. "To get to the wedding venue, Sky at AYANA Resort, it requires a hotel tram that is only accessible by wedding guests, keeping the venue completely separate from the public/main hotel area." The thoughtful layout also made their day flow seamlessly. "Our venue included 4 main separate areas - amphitheater ceremony area, cocktail hour lawn area, deck area for sunset viewing/photos (which is also another available smaller wedding venue area at AYANA Resort), as well as the reception lawn area. It was great to keep the areas separate, but close enough to allow for a seamless transition for the guests' experience."
Alvin and Nicola add: "Everyone we worked with at Ayana was lovely and very helpful. They really tried their best to accommodate all our needs and made planning from abroad much easier.”

Robin described her venue as "incredibly amazing...spacious and beautiful, featuring stunning gardens and a breathtaking sea view, all perfectly matching my mood board."
But perhaps Alvin's words capture the AYANA magic best: "The most intensely memorable moment came just before the ceremony, when I saw the aisle in person for the very first time. Even though I had visited the site multiple times and attended weddings here, seeing our vision brought to life was pure magic. The realization that every detail we had planned was now a reality was incredibly emotional. Then, as we exchanged vows, the golden hour sunset took over. It was like something you only see in high-definition photographs—a perfect, rich hue that completely bathed the cliffside and the endless ocean view in a warm, impossible glow. It was the perfect, cinematic finale to a dream brought to life."
