When you start planning your wedding, you're not just looking for a beautiful backdrop—you're searching for a place that feels like it was meant for your love story. Pyrgos Melissourgou is a 17th-century tower estate that's been waiting 350 years to host your perfect day.

Pyrgos Melissourgou isn't trying to be anything it's not. This is authenticity you can touch—stone walls that have stood since the 1600s, olive trees with centuries of stories, and views that sweep from rolling hills to the sparkling Aegean Sea. Located in Lagonisi, just 15 minutes from Athens International Airport, it's close enough for convenience but far enough to feel like you've escaped to your own private world.

What makes this venue extraordinary? It's one of Greece's oldest private residences, lovingly preserved by the same family since 1836. When you celebrate here, you're becoming part of a living history that respects the past while embracing your future.

As Alec & Isabella Manfre put it:

The wedding venue was everything I always dreamed of- beautiful on its own, romantic and steeped in history. It truly added to the specialness of our wedding!

Arjun & Seetal agreed, saying:

We loved our castle venue. It gave us the intimate feeling of being inland whilst having stunning coastal views. We truly felt like a Prince and Princess getting married here!

Mariam & Peter felt this deeply too:

I chose Pyrgos Melissogrou because its castle setting reflects my deep love for history and ancient architecture. Every stone tells a story, and I wanted our wedding day surrounded by timeless beauty. The venue's elegance and heritage made it feel like we were stepping into our own fairytale. It was the perfect place to celebrate a love built to last.

Every couple is different, which is why this 60-acre estate offers such variety. You might envision an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration—it can accommodate both, and everything in between.

The Lemon Garden

There's something magical about exchanging vows surrounded by blooming lemon trees. Their delicate fragrance adds a natural elegance that no florist could replicate, creating an intimate setting for up to 90 guests who'll remember the scent of your ceremony for years to come.

The Tower's Front Porch

With the historic tower as your backdrop and seating arranged amphitheatrically, your ceremony becomes a beautiful performance where you're the stars. Up to 130 guests can witness your vows in this theatrical yet romantic setting.

Heeten and Juhee shared their experience:

Celebrating our love with over 160 of our favorite people from the US and India at Pyrgos Melissourgou was an absolute dream! The views of the castle and from the castle were so picturesque, and it made us feel so special to do our first look with our family and friends from the top.

The Olive Grove

This is where dreams take shape under the stars. Centuries-old olive trees and evergreen lawn create a canvas for receptions from 20 to 700 guests. The lighting possibilities are endless, and each celebration here feels completely unique.

The Dance Floor & Bar Area

Over 100 square meters of dance floor, a stunning 12-meter stone bar, and a signature blue river feature with running water—this is where parties truly come alive. The beige truss system ensures perfect sound, while the "beach" area with real sand and tamarisk trees adds a playful, unexpected touch that guests adore.

The indoor event hall accommodates up to 400 guests with movable partitions that tailor the space to exact needs. For cooler evenings, the stone pergola by the pool provides shelter and charm for up to 95 seated guests. The private chapel offers that sacred, intimate atmosphere many couples cherish.

The lower natural area can host ceremonies for up to 1,000 guests with breathtaking sea views—perfect for couples who want to go big without sacrificing beauty.

Located on the road to Cape Sounion, just 1,000 meters from the sea, the estate offers sunsets that aren't just beautiful—they're the kind that make you stop mid-sentence and just watch. Heeten and Juhee captured it perfectly: "The sunset from this venue felt like a painting."

Arjun & Seetal experienced the full magic of the setting: "Our reception venue had a picturesque sunset view, which then turned into a clear starry night sky. A perfect setting for us and our guests to dance and party the night away." On the clearest nights, the stars feel close enough to touch.

The 525 square meters of covered area means weather is never a concern, while the outdoor spaces let you embrace the Mediterranean magic.
