“I started shooting weddings by chance, in 2014, and instantly fell in love with it,” Duarte shares. “The way that I create my videos, I just let my creativity roam free, so I’m overjoyed that it resonates with my couples.”

For portraits, Duarte takes an editorial approach, ensuring that every couple feels like they’ve stepped out of a high-fashion magazine. “For portraits, both individual and couple shots, I incorporate an editorial style to ensure the couple feels and looks effortlessly cool and timeless,” he says.
Every artist has their tools, and Duarte relies on his trusted Sony camera paired with a 35mm lens for most of the day. This setup allows him to focus on the intimate, candid moments that define his work.
When asked for his top tips for engaged couples, Duarte keeps it simple but impactful: “Embrace the day to the fullest. It goes by in the blink of an eye, so take a moment to savor every moment whenever you can.”
