Fourteen years ago in Sicily, it was almost a leap into the unknown, but I knew that it was not my place. I felt suffocated; my dissatisfaction was a ringing bell I absolutely had to listen to.”
Taking that leap wasn’t just daring; it was visionary. “Today I know that I was crazy, reckless, but visionary,” Helga Cascio says with conviction.
“I remember my first event as if it were today,” she recalls, “and unconsciousness certainly helped me a lot.” That first wedding laid the foundation for what would become a flourishing career.
Despite the challenges of diving into an untested field, her empathy and sensitivity became her greatest strengths. “It is a job that requires a lot of self-denial, seriousness, professionalism, study, and cold blood. For an empath like me, it is not always easy, but I always try to live it with the right magic and a pinch of madness.”

When asked about her dream venue, Helga Cascio hesitates. “It is very difficult to choose, but if I have to stay in my region, I certainly choose the salt pans of Marsala.”
As for memorable weddings? She finds it impossible to pick just one. “I could never choose one of my events. To each of them, I have left a piece of me, and each of them is part of my heart and my wealth of experience and emotions. They all have a unique value.”
