Logan Cole is a self-taught photographer based in California with over 15 years of experience, a passion that has led him to photograph more than 500 weddings across the U.S. and over 20 countries worldwide. His journey began with an interest in capturing everyday moments, but weddings quickly became his main focus. “I strive to be a storyteller with my photography,” Logan says. “Aiming to create fine art from real and authentic moments while building genuine connections with my couples.”
When asked to describe his photography style, Logan is quick to explain that his work is far more than just traditional wedding photography. “I would describe my style as elevated photojournalism. My goal is for my clients to look back at their wedding photos and feel as though they are looking at paintings,” he shares. His goal is to not only document the event but also to encapsulate the emotions and energy of the day in a way that feels timeless.
In Logan's hands, the camera becomes a tool to immortalize the little moments that often go unnoticed. “I aim to capture genuine moments and emotions while telling a complete story from start to finish,” he says. His images carry a sense of movement, intimacy, and refinement, striking a perfect balance between classy elegance and the spontaneous joy of a wedding day. Logan prides himself on creating a visual narrative that his clients can relive for decades, with each photograph evoking the beauty and essence of their special day.
What Logan enjoys most about being a wedding photographer is the lasting impact his work has on his clients. “They value and cherish their wedding photos for years to come,” Logan says. His photography allows couples to relive their wedding day, evoking memories they will treasure for generations.
Wedding photography has also opened doors for Logan to experience places and cultures he never imagined. “It has taken me all around the globe, allowing me to experience places I never imagined visiting,” he notes. "It has also given me the opportunity to immerse myself in diverse cultures, lifestyles, and religions,” he reflects, adding depth and a rich perspective to his work.
Logan Cole is not one to offer cookie-cutter wedding packages. He understands that every couple is unique, and their photography needs should reflect that. “For the main wedding or ceremony day, we offer unlimited coverage rather than hourly rates, ensuring coverage until midnight on the day of the wedding,” he explains. This allows him to capture every moment without the pressure of time constraints, ensuring that his clients feel relaxed and not rushed. “I want my clients to feel relaxed and never rushed or stressed,” he adds.
For couples hosting elaborate multi-day events, Logan offers fully customizable packages. “We create completely custom packages for multi-day South Asian weddings,” he explains. His focus is on making each couple’s vision come to life, whether it involves pre-wedding events, after-parties, or covering multiple ceremonies.
“My approach to working with clients is centered around communication, collaboration, and trust,” Logan emphasizes. He takes the time to truly get to know his clients, engaging in detailed discussions about their style, preferences, and any special moments they want to be highlighted.
Logan believes that one of the most important aspects of being a wedding photographer is maintaining a calm and confident presence. “I think it's extremely important to bring a calm and confident vibe and only surround my clients with positive good energy,” he says. This is a quality that his couples appreciate, as it allows them to feel at ease and enjoy their wedding day without added stress.
On the wedding day, Logan’s approach is to blend into the background, capturing natural and unposed moments. I blend into the background to capture genuine moments while also providing gentle direction when needed to ensure we get those perfect shots,” he explains. He brings an air of professionalism to every shoot while ensuring the atmosphere remains relaxed. “My goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed environment so that the couple can be themselves, resulting in authentic and beautiful photographs,” he adds.
Logan’s work has taken him around the globe, and his love for travel is a major aspect of his photography. “I photograph many destination weddings and always love traveling, exploring, and capturing moments in new locations,” he says enthusiastically. His favorite destinations for weddings are as varied as the couples he works with. “It's difficult to choose a favorite, but I've always had a special fondness for shooting in old châteaux in the French countryside. You can also never go wrong with Mexico; I have so much love for San Miguel de Allende and Tulum.”
