"My technical journey began in high school through yearbook participation, and during university, it evolved into a creative outlet that allowed me to explore storytelling through imagery."
Today, Myla is a self-taught wedding photographer with four years of experience, capturing love stories across the West Coast and beyond. Based in Seattle, she loves the effortless elegance and laid-back luxury that weddings offer.

"I use a multitude of equipment, more notably being able to blend digital with various film formats including super 8 video," she explains. "I take pride in infusing analog and film mediums into my work, creating a timeless and unique experience for each couple I work with," she says.

Speaking of destination weddings, Myla is no stranger to travel. While she is based in Seattle, she loves exploring new locations for her work. “I love destination weddings. My favorite destination for weddings is the Greek Islands.” The stunning landscapes and natural light of Greece provide the perfect backdrop for her style, blending luxury with a sense of ease and intimacy.
When it comes to post-processing, Myla’s philosophy is all about enhancing the natural beauty of the moment without over-editing. “Light editing for true-to-color/natural enhancements in Lightroom,” she shares. Her goal is to keep the final images as authentic as possible, allowing couples to relive their wedding day exactly as it was.
