"We met through friends around 10 years ago but didn’t speak much at at all," Gabriella reminisces. It wasn't until seven years later that Jason made his move, transforming their acquaintance into a love story that would lead them down the aisle.

Their journey took a romantic turn when Jason proposed unexpectedly on a serene beach in Esperance. "I was definitely not expecting it as we hadn’t spoken about getting engaged so soon and I always thought it was going to be at least a year from when he actually proposed. He wanted to surprise me when I least expected it," Gabriella recalls the surprise that changed their lives forever.

When asked about their wedding, Gabriella describes it as a vision of classic elegance with a twist of modern romance—a celebration not just of love but of joy and community. "My vision was a super romantic but a party at the same time," she explains. The planning took 15 meticulous months, culminating in a beautiful ceremony with 200 guests in attendance, held at the majestic St Mary's Cathedral and the luxurious Westin Perth on the 18th of March 2023.

Throughout the preparation phase, the couple found incredible support and inspiration from their wedding planner, Branka of Blonde and Blue. "My wedding planner inspired me with her timeless styling concepts," Gabriella shares enthusiastically.

The key moments that will forever be etched in their hearts include the poignant walk down the aisle and the intimate moments shared between just the two of them after the ceremony. "It was just the two of us," she recalls with a smile.

The morning of Gabriella and Jason's wedding was filled with a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation. Every detail was meticulously chosen to reflect their personal tastes and the elegance of the day. Gabriella notes on choosing their wedding rings, "Ruz from Behnam Diamonds has amazing designs which made it so easy."

The bridal preparations were filled with emotional moments, especially when choosing the wedding dress—a stunning creation by Pallas Couture. "It took a little while and I actually had picked a completely different design to start off with. It wasn’t until they had brought out a new collection with one dress having long sleeves. They were so similar to my mum's wedding dress and it instantly helped make my decision. It was very emotional as she had passed 10 years prior," Gabriella shares, her voice tinged with emotion.

The final touches to her bridal look included luxurious Valentino shoes and a delicate Pallas Couture veil. Her wedding bouquet, a beautiful composition of soft, delicate white flowers arranged by Natural Art, added a romantic and ethereal touch to her ensemble.

Gabriella wasn’t the only one adorned in style; her bridesmaids looked stunning in dresses designed by Paula & Jo Perth, perfectly complementing the wedding’s classic elegance.
