Brought together by friends as if by fate's own hand, their love blossomed against the backdrop of winter's embrace. "We have been together for 5 years," Victoria reflects. Their meeting wasn't just chance; it was as if the universe conspired to bring their hearts together.

Paul's proposal, a scene plucked from the most enchanting of tales, remains etched in Victoria's memory as the moment their future was sealed. "The marriage proposal was unexpected. Paul with the help of our best friends organized the proposal on the ski slope at night. With torches lit at the bottom of the descent," she recounts, her eyes alight with the memory. "I will remember it forever."

"We wanted to have an intimate wedding with only relatives and then a party with all our friends," they shared, their voices intertwined with excitement. "We saw our wedding just for us, to have some beautiful photographs as a memory," Victoria mused.

"We wanted to have something charming with typical Italian architecture," the bride explained. The couple's dedication to creating a day that mirrored their love story was evident in every choice they made, from the meticulous planning to the selection of every detail.

As dawn kissed the sky on the 6th of November, 2023, the world seemed to hold its breath in anticipation of the love story that was about to unfold. The invitations, a labor of love by Edelweiss Weddings, whispered promises of the day's enchantment, their elegance a prelude to the celebration that awaited.

Amidst the quiet excitement of the morning, Victoria added a touch of timeless grace to her bridal aura with vintage accessories passed down from her mother. These pieces, more than mere adornments, were heirlooms of love, weaving the past into the present, and symbolizing the continuity of love through generations.

For Victoria, the selection of her gowns was a journey of emotion and beauty. "My two main dresses from "House of Flora.” Smooth dress with slit, very sensual that I immediately fell in love with. Always very feminine for the ceremony," she reminisces. "Third dress I bought for the joke I didn't think I'd wear it but then my photographer convinced me. Short "BAE" dress I worn for cutting the cake." Discovered in the quaint corners of Milan's Antonella del Brusco bridal boutique, these dresses became symbols of her bridal journey, celebrated in a villa filled with laughter and light.
The getting-ready photoshoot unfolded in the majestic rooms of Villa Labirinto,where each moment was a blend of beauty, laughter, and spontaneity. "This is the most beautiful and fun part," Victoria recalls with a sparkle in her eye.

Adding to her final look, Victoria chose accessories that complemented her stunning gowns—each piece selected with care, adding layers of elegance and personality to her bridal ensemble. Yet, it was her bouquet that held a special place in her heart. Crafted by the skilled hands of Amie Ziedi, the bouquet was a vibrant mix of roses and tulips, bathed in the warm hues of autumn.

Paul's morning was a reflection of quiet elegance, the villa offering a canvas for moments of anticipation. "We found this very large Villa to organize the whole photo shoot day in one place," Victoria notes.

First Look

“First look was at the symbolic ceremony organized at the majestic entrance of the Villa,” the bride recalls. Seeing Victoria, radiant and ethereal, Paul was struck by a sense of awe and gratitude. For Victoria, it was a moment of profound connection, a silent vow of endless adventures together.

Photoshoot before the ceremony

The decision to have Villa Labirinto to themselves was one of intimacy and reflection. "We chose Villa Labirinto for our elopement wedding and photoshoot. We wanted to have the whole villa for ourselves and our parents. We wanted to spend a nice day and have the opportunity to take lots of photographs for ourselves. We organized the main party with all our friends in a mountain restaurant. Paul is very shy it was difficult to convince him for this adventure and the whole day in the company of 2 photographers and a videographer," they muse, recalling the joy of sharing this solitude with their nearest.

Ceremony

Their vows, exchanged under the gaze of closest friends and family at the villa's entrance, were underscored by the strains of "A Thousand Years."

The ceremony held a special place in their hearts, remembered as the key moment of their celebration. "The ceremony was very moving," Victoria recalled, her voice soft with emotion. "We didn't write any vows before and we improvised. Paul did it better, which even made my dad cry."

Wedding Venue & Decor

The villa, adorned in the rich palette of autumn and illuminated by candles, transformed into a dream setting. “The Villa was very beautiful on the outside but it is even more beautiful inside with the high ceilings, and the staircase like in a fairy tale. Interiors all decorated with frescoes,” Victoria mentions.

"We knew that November is a month at risk of rain and bad weather. Precisely for this reason we looked for the location that can offer us the possibility of using many rooms inside," they explain. "Luckily, November 6th seemed like a warm spring with the sun shining."

Reception

Their first dance, a tender moment shared to the melody of Andrea Bocelli's "Perfect," was a symbol of their harmonious union. Reflecting on the day, they express heartfelt gratitude toward their wedding planner and vendors. "Our wedding planner was very patient with us, and with her team, they achieved everything we had always dreamed of and even more. We wanted to experience a fairytale wedding just for us and so it was," they conclude, their story a testament to love's enduring magic.
