Emma began her journey into wedding videography in 2019, at the young age of 19. “I’m now 24 years old,” she says. Her rise in the industry has been impressive, and her passion for her work is undeniable. “I love running my own business,” Emma shares. “I love being in an industry where I get to show people off and make them feel so loved on and celebrated. I love being able to give my client's a film where they are watching 50% of the footage for the very first time because they didn't see it on the day of.”

Emma's business mindset is perfectly paired with her love for storytelling. She thrives on the balance between creativity and entrepreneurship, allowing her to build a business while creating lasting memories for her clients.

A Filmmaking Style That’s Both Dramatic and Real

Emma describes her filmmaking style as “dramatic, hype-infused, luxury, real, and cinematic.” These elements come together to form a truly unique style that’s perfectly suited to the grand, high-end weddings she films. Every frame is designed to evoke emotion while maintaining a polished, luxurious aesthetic.

Emma’s focus is on creating films that don’t just document the day but also feel personal to each couple. “I love having a great understanding of the design vision so that I make sure all the details are captured. My brand is also very focused on capturing the guest experience for my clients so they can relive all those moments post-wedding day,” she explains. 

Connecting with Clients to Create Authentic Films

One of the things that sets Emma apart from other filmmakers is the way she connects with her clients. “I do love to meet with my clients (if I'm able to) before the wedding day,” she says. “As well to learn as much as I can about their love and loved ones as well.”

Emma’s dedication to creating films that reflect her clients' unique stories is a hallmark of her brand. She places great importance on understanding the design and flow of the wedding weekend, ensuring that nothing is missed. “I work closely with the planners and vendors of the wedding weekend so that my team and I feel prepared to serve my clients and their families best,” she explains.

High-End Weddings

For Emma, luxury weddings demand a level of attention and service that she is well-prepared to deliver. Her services can extend to multi-day events, depending on the scale of the wedding. Emma’s focus on multi-day celebrations allows her to capture the full experience, including events like welcome dinners and after-parties.

“On average, I provide 10 hours of coverage on the wedding day and 2 hours of welcome dinner coverage,” she explains. “Of course, I work weddings with a lot more hours.”

Emma is committed to making sure every detail and moment is documented, especially those that couples may not have noticed on the day. Her emphasis on capturing the guest experience ensures that her clients can relive every aspect of their celebration, even those parts they might have missed in the whirlwind of the day. 

In addition to filming luxury weddings in the United States, Emma is no stranger to destination weddings. “Yes, I do destination weddings,” she confirms. “My favorite wedding destination has been the Maldives or Canary Islands.” The beauty and uniqueness of these locations provide the perfect backdrop for her cinematic style, allowing her to capture stunning visuals that complement the emotional depth of her films.

Advice for Couples: Focus on the Moments That Matter

When it comes to offering advice for couples, Emma encourages them to enjoy every moment of their day. “Soak up every moment on the day-of,” she advises. “Regardless of what goes wrong, when it's actually your wedding day, it's not worth ruining the day over the small things. Plan as much as you want beforehand but on the actual day, just enjoy all the things that go right and lean into your people.”

Her words of wisdom emphasize the importance of letting go of perfection on the wedding day and focusing on what truly matters—celebrating love with family and friends.

Emma’s impact on the wedding industry extends beyond her films. She is also the founder and host of The Wedding Filmmaker Workshop, a multi-day, in-person experience designed to help other wedding filmmakers hone their craft. Additionally, Emma co-hosts The We Got You Podcast, a business-focused platform for wedding photographers and videographers. Through these platforms, she’s creating a supportive community for wedding creatives, offering valuable resources for those looking to grow their businesses.
