Transitioning to wedding planning after designing her own wedding, Dani found her true passion. Combining her Fortune 500-honed planning and management background with her infectious enthusiasm and timeless style, today, Dani and her team create romantic, elegant and sophisticated fêtes that are each infused with her individual brand of client dedication and signature European take on event design.

“Other than the amazing families I get to work with, probably the most rewarding part of planning a wedding is the look on a bride's face when she sees her reception for the first time and finally, all that hard work to execute her vision comes to life,” the owner shares.

"We have a client and guest-centered approach that we bring to all weddings and events, treating our clients as if were our only clients, their guests our only guests, and with an attitude that each event should be a true reflection of the couple," the team adds, emphasizing the personalized nature of their service.

HauteFêtes specializes in full-service destination wedding planning, focusing on multi-day events that allow for a rich and expansive celebration. "We only full services design and planning and structure our services around a two-event minimum," the team explains. “We offer the flexibility to add on additional events to meet our clients' needs.”

"The key to any successful event is carefully listen to my couples, understand who they are, how they like to entertain, how their home is decorated, what they like to wear, how they want their guests to feel," they describe. "Too many planners try to impose their own vision on couples and or approach wedding design from the standpoint of trying to get published. In contrast, I'm focused on producing events that are spectacular and unique, from the first impression down to the smallest detail, inspired by our couples," Dani adds.

Addressing the challenges in the industry, Dani candidly shares, "Unfortunately, the industry has very disparate guidance on the investment required and real costs of planning weddings these days. So many couples will look at Pinterest for ideas and come to me saying, "I want a wedding just like this". Unfortunately, they don't know how much goes into the weddings they love and what it takes cost-wise to produce weddings like that. It doesn't help when the national averages are so significantly lower than what is reality in the markets we primarily work in." 

To help couples stay within their financial comfort zone, Dani stresses the importance of realistic budgeting. "Always under promise and over deliver. I'm very frank about what weddings cost and would much rather overestimate that give clients lip service, especially at the onset. I do not undertake any weddings without being clear on the investment that it will take to produce the vision that my couples have and I have a very extensive budgeting process that I walk my clients through," she advises. 

Dani encourages couples to trust their planners and allow them to guide the budgeting process, ensuring a balance between dream and affordability.

The team also offers heartfelt advice for couples in the planning stages. "Hire a planner you trust and then let them guide you." Dani reminds, "And make sure you make time for being engaged and enjoying that special time together. I always tell my couples to have date nights where they should not talk about their wedding." This approach helps maintain the joy and excitement of engagement without being overwhelmed by the details of wedding planning.

Memorable Weddings

Recalling one of their most memorable projects, the HauteFêtes team shares, "All of our weddings are beautiful and memorable in their own right. We produced a beautiful wedding in Jamaica for a bride who works with the Obamas. Not only was it a beautiful series of events held in the most magical setting of the Tryall Club in Jamaica, while Mrs. Obama was unable to attend at the last minute, we were able to set up a videoconference where they wished the bride well." Dani shares her love for iconic venues, “I have so many!!! Probably The Four Seasons Firenze in Florence, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes in the South of France, and San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Santa Barbara." Her desire is to create events that are not only held in beautiful places but are themselves works of art. “We are proud to be preferred partners and to work at incredible venues all over the US and around the world,” the team adds.
