12 years I’m Opi Kaur, founder and creative director of Open the Door Events, an immersive sensory design studio based in southern Spain, creating multi-day weddings across Europe and beyond. Our practice moves between spatial design, florals, textiles, scent, sound and light. An avant-garde sensibility meets an instinct for hosting, creating celebrations for artists, creative minds and couples whose references reach beyond weddings. Connection shapes every decision. We consider the guest experience as closely as the aesthetic: how a space invites conversation, how dinner unfolds, how one moment slips into the next. Having lived and worked across 40 countries, I know how rare it is to gather your favourite people in one place.
