We hired Salvatore for our wedding and, while the day itself went smoothly, the aftermath was a huge disappointment. When we received the photos, we were surprised to find that each one had Salvatore’s copyright watermark on it, something that was never mentioned in the contract or in any communication.
We reached out to ask if we could receive the pictures without the watermark for personal use, especially for printing our wedding photo album. We obviously agreed to use the watermarked ones for any public sharing. However, Salvatore refused, stating that the pictures were his property and dismissing our request by saying, "you can’t have everything for the price you paid"—a price we had never negotiated down. His proposed solution was to crop the photos ourselves, which directly contradicted the contract, as it clearly states we’re not allowed to modify the images.
We had expected a finished product that we could use for our wedding album, but instead, we were given two poor options: either break the contract by cropping the watermark out ourselves, or print our album with the watermark included.
After several weeks of back-and-forth emails, where Salvatore blamed our attitude and felt greatly insulted that we dared say the product was not finished, we were left with no choice but to involve a lawyer. Only after the lawyer intervened did we finally receive the unwatermarked photos. However, not all of the selected images were included.
In the end, we didn’t even receive the 500 photos we were promised, since a good portion of them were simply black-and-white duplicates of the originals.
Overall, this experience was incredibly stressful, and I would absolutely not recommend Salvatore as a wedding photographer. We’re very disappointed by his lack of professionalism and his attitude.

His work speaks for itself, but I still have to add that our wedding photos are simply stunning and he managed to snap every tint detail of the day - Salvatore did not miss a moment and the result is truly amazing photography that capture every emotions of the day perfectly.
From Grant and I, we also got so much support, both logistical and emotionally, around our planning and on the day itself. Salvatore always made sure that we remembered it was our day, our moment, and we needed to fully live it.
