I'd previously worked with Tom at various networking events and his photos were always amazing. He has an ability to become part of the party, the people he photographs feel relaxed and comfortable and therefore the photos were always above and beyond what we'd asked for. When it came to organising my wedding, I knew that Tom's talent to capture people looking natural and relaxed was what I wanted in a photographer. In the lead-up to the wedding, he was communicative, organised and helpful. Happy to assist wherever needed. We had a wonderful engagement shoot and I was able to use these photos for invitations. We were quite disorganised at times, but Tom's manner was always positive and flexible and that made things much easier. At the wedding itself, he became part of the party. Guests came up to us and tell us how brilliant he was and how well they'd got on with him. We were all impressed with his dedication. He worked long hours, far beyond what I'd expected, to make sure he captured everything and the result is we have a wealth of photos that fantastically capture our wonderful day. I would thoroughly recommend Tom to anyone that is planning a wedding, or any other event that requires a truly talented, friendly and excellent photographer.

It’s fair to say my wife (still feels weird) and I aren’t the most comfortable in front of a camera. But having amazing wedding photos - ones that are timeless and last a lifetime -  was so important to us. That’s why Tom is incredible at what he does. Anyone that can make us look good in photos deserves a glowing recommendation.  After an initial meeting, Tom encouraged us to have an engagement shoot. This turned out to be the secret to getting the best photos possible on our actual wedding day. It was effectively a rehearsal for us. The day goes by so quickly, but it felt like Tom had done all the preparation needed to make sure he got the perfect shots and we could get back to our guests. Tom’s photography is a mixture of artistic portraiture and candid reportage. This was perfect for what we wanted - some beautiful photos of us and our family and then more fun photos of our guests and the party. He nailed both. And to top it all off he’s a super-nice guy. All of our guests kept mentioning how nice the photographer was and how hard he was working throughout.  The other thing that was massively impressive was Tom’s communication and planning. He doesn’t just turn up and take photos. Everything was planned and then talked through with us to make sure we were happy.   Everybody has a camera these days. But not everybody is a photographer with the skills and experience needed to take on such a massive responsibility. We couldn’t be happier with our photos. They’re priceless to us.

I think it was fate that brought Tom to us as our wedding photographer and we couldn’t feel more fortunate we found him. My husband and I were newbs to the wedding world in every sense. Tom was calm, patient and extremely invaluable not only as a photographer but many times acting as our wedding planner and overall wedding advice guru. Tom went above and beyond for us, giving us so much of his time and expertise; for our engagement shots he braved the cold, working tirelessly taking the most beautiful pictures and on our wedding day he was invaluable, creating the most amazing photographs that we will cherish forever.
