10 years I'm Olya Kobruseva, a fine art film wedding photographer based in Barcelona. For over ten years I've photographed destination weddings across Spain, France, Italy and Portugal, fr om multi-day celebrations in Mallorca to château weddings in Provence and Bordeaux. I shoot medium format film on a Contax 645 and Pentax 67, with digital for the fast-moving parts of the day. Film slows me down. Every frame is a decision, and couples feel that calm. My approach is editorial wh ere it matters and candid everywhere else. The photographs you'll return to are rarely the posed ones. They're the glance across the table, your father's face, the last light of the evening. I take on no more than 15 weddings a year, so every couple has my full attention, from the first mood board to a curated gallery of 800+ images.
