11 years I'm Alexandra, a Portuguese bridal hair and makeup specialist from Portugal with more than 10 years of weddings. Located in the north of Portugal, I'm available to travel all over the country for destination weddings. My style and work are influenced by my education Fashion and Communication Sciences. I've worked with fashion, portrait photography and mostly brides. Art has always been a part of my life and inspiration in bridal hair and makeup. By creating a customized hair and makeup look, everything has to harmonize - Dress, flowers, accessories and your personality. Everything has to come together and not outshine you or each other. I keep up with and love trends, but my work has always a less is more approach catering to a forever beauty captured by your Photography team. On the other hand, my kit is ever changing with new products enabling new techniques for a best of the best result. Skin preparation is an essential part of my bridal services. The "ritual" of prepping the skin allows an optimal makeup application and an added relaxing time for my bride. This is the secret for an amazing photogenic skin.

Initially, I planned to keep things simple. Then I found Alexandra. She is not only talented, but also genuinely kind and attentive. She listened to all my concerns and was able to fit in a last minute trial wh ere she created the most beautiful updo. She was so gentle with my hair, which was really important to me because of my sensitive scalp.
On the wedding day, she made my hair look absolutely stunning, even adding curls at the front that lasted 16 hours! I can’t express how grateful I am. She made me feel beautiful.
Alexandra was also amazing at communicating, especially since I live in London. She went above and beyond by finding another brilliant hairstylist, Solange, for my bridesmaids and they absolutely loved her too.
The morning of the wedding was so much fun thanks to Alexandra and her team. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her enough. She is not only incredibly skilled but also warm, thoughtful, and truly genuine. Thank you so much, Alexandra.
