Love working with Meghan. Pretty much just always cross my fingers that we can work together on more and more weddings. Already counting down the days until the 2021 season! Meghan is creative, reliable and a great time on-site. She is easy to communicate with both in-person and digitally and is adaptable on-site. I love her eye and how she shoots. She takes amazing portraits and also has shot some of my absolute favourite details shots to date. Absolutely a joy to work with.

Meghan did a fantastic job of our wedding and photo shoot. Everything turned out far better than we could have imagined and she captured the lighting perfectly during sunset. We did some fun action shots that turned out really cool too, I highly recommend!

We are so happy that we booked Meghan Hemstra for our elopement! The photos are so amazing, we can't believe that they are of us! We felt very comfortable and had such a good laugh while taking them! Meghan and her team have such a great eye for details and capturing the atmosphere, they truly are the best in the business! We hope that we can work with Meghan again for another special occasion soon!

Meghan is amazing. First off she is wildly fun and we couldn’t have picked a better photographer for our wedding. She was so helpful in our preplanning and setting our schedule for the day. We started our wedding planning abroad, and then the last 5 months of planning occurred in COVID 2020. Meghan was so reassuring and flexible, forever grateful. We had a lot of last minute planning due to changing covid restrictions but Meghan was up for our summer 2020 wedding. Due to this plague, our wedding was majorly simplified and a good old fashion yard wedding took place, Meghan rolled with whatever came and I cannot believe the photos. She caught all the fun of the day and the crawling out of 1st wave pandemic giddies. I wanted our wedding photos to be of the day and the people, catching candids and steering away from overly formal photos. Pure perfection! She delivered so many beautiful photos of our friends, family, and home to be forever cherished. Meghan met all her promised deadlines and was highly professional while maintaining her assured relaxed vibe that SHE GOT THIS!

We found Meghan through an exhaustive search of photographers in the Northwest area pre-pandemic, when our original wedding was scheduled in Vancouver, BC. Her work quality, style, and accolades were very impressive and we instantly connected with her during our first meeting. Unfortunately, my wife and I had to move our wedding out of Canada to the United States due to COVID-19 restrictions. Rather than abandoning us, Meghan went the extra mile to hire an associate photographer with a similar style to shoot for us, after which she selected and edited our photography library. The final products were beautiful, and capture memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We plan to travel to BC this year to actually shoot with Meghan, and are very excited! We would highly recommend her to anyone who wants the best wedding photographer they can find.

We were so happy and fortunate to have Meghan as the photographer for our wedding, and we are thrilled with how the photos turned out. I work as a camera technician in the film industry and after studying photography in university, I am very familiar with the process of photography, and also familiar with how unphotogenic I can be! Meghan erased any fears. The moment you meet her, she has a calming presence that allows things to progress organically. I'm very happy we booked a family photo session prior to the wedding, just so I had a trial run, and after seeing how well those photos turned out, I felt very relaxed for the big day. Also, as you can imagine, weddings can be stressful, and having a professional like Meghan there brings stability and calm to the day. The additional photographer Meghan brought on also did a fantastic job, and our wedding was well covered. We feel very lucky to have had Meghan there for our wedding. Good photos are important to us, and that's what we received.

I don't even know where to start with this review... if you're considering booking Meghan, do it. This is an investment you will never regret. Meghan was recommended to us by a close friend who described Meghan as "simply the best" and Meghan did NOT disappoint! My husband is incredibly uncomfortable around cameras, hates having his photo taken, and made it clear that he didn't want photos to be a big part of our day. I on the other hand love having my photo taken and was so excited to display our wedding photos on the walls of our home. Providing Meghan with this background, she reassured me that my husband and I would be happy with the result and that she specialized in these kinds of dynamics. Meghan and her second shooter Kate arrived the morning of our wedding full of energy, creativity and vision. They made our 14 guests feel comfortable as they took candid shots throughout the day and somehow had my husband WANTING to spend more time capturing every ounce of emotion and love we share. Within 48 hours from our wedding, Meghan delivered teaser shots that BLEW OUR MINDS. My husband was quick to share our photos with his friends and family who were absent from our micro-wedding and was even quick to print a few for his office. Meghan has the gift to not just capture a moment but the emotion behind it. If you've made it this far in my novel review, know that including Meghan in our wedding was the best decision we made and we're so grateful to have these pieces of art to remember our day. Meghan wasn't just our wedding photographer but has become a friend very dear to our family and someone we look forward to supporting as she captures future celebrations in years to come. Highly recommend!! <3

We had our wedding back in Fall 2022 and Meghan was honestly one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. Our wedding planner recommended Meghan to us as we were struggling to find a photographer that suited our needs. We were at first a bit intimidated by Meghan's stunning, editorial black & white photos and weren't sure if us being the models will result in just as gorgeous shots. However, our wedding planner assured us Meghan will give our wedding album a polished look. And oh boy does Meghan deliver! We did an engagement shoot with Meghan prior to our wedding to get to know her better and she was the nicest, most artistic and positive photographer ever! My husband and I are both a bit shy and awkward in our poses but Meghan gives super clear instructions and shower you with compliments to make you feel confident but natural during your shoot! Just when you think Meghan cannot wow you enough, our set of wedding photos are so gorgeous and breathtaking - we had a tough time narrowing down the ones we wanted to print for our album. At first, we weren't sure if we wanted so many black & white shots but you find yourself gravitating to Meghan's classic, timeless photos. On the day of the wedding, Meghan was also such a natural leader and proposed many ideas and poses to ensure we received a different variety of shots. Because Meghan is such a professional and she has so much experience, she makes your wedding day less stressful as you know you can count on her! Out of our album though, my most favorite photos were the ones that were candid and and captured the emotions of the day. Meghan is so good at it! She's just wonderful, 100% recommend her and you won't regret choosing her! One of the best investments ever because photographs last a lifetime!
